  • The "vertical gray stripes" are, respectively, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 3.58 and 4.2 MHz. Their purpose is to measure the MHz of the transmission of the signal.

  • Canada's 1st privately owned television station was CKSO-TV 5 Sudbury, which we know now as CICI-TV, CTV Northern Ontario, which used to be Good Lookin' MCTV-CTV.

  • During the 1990s and 2000s, MCTV would end up using a plain white screen with "BBS MCTV", and (after BBS went away) "MCTV" in the center of the screen in light gray.
