gotta give you 11 out of 10 for that kiddo,. I am 41 now and when I was your age the best I could aspire to was a crappy casio synthesizer, its fantastic that you have all of these software tools at your disposal, or maybe even free, I am trying to find my way around Reason now as I prefer the Analog synth sounds, but I do use FL from time to time (its got some wicked sawtooth oscillators) but keep on doin what you are doing and I can see big things ahead for you. well done

have to agree totally with salkizar ,too classic ,but have to admire your skills,the best trance tunes were the ones that sounded fresh and different,like 1999 at the time,with your obvious skill ,if you get your head down and think a wee bit outside the box ,you could easy write a great tune man,good luck to ya.

Well, for this song I just used Drumwaves from dance ejay 7, EQed and Compressed etc..., and Sytrus for the bass, synth and pads. That's pretty much it.

I think DjSalkizar was a bit harsh. This is absolutely fantastic! I love BF and I have heard most if not all the remixes. The sound is well balanced and the instruments all blend in well with each other. Hats off to you :o) If you are interested in constructive critiscm, my suggestions are; Listen to the first version (1998), there is a lovely build up to the main theme and this is repeated with changes throughout the track. The oil refinery remix is good too! Don't give up - you are defo A1

dude!! If I was you I'd stay away from remixing stuff like this coz it's too classic!! People cant notice what you have done to it! Try remixing stuff that's mainstream pop or summit...that way, when u make it a trance tune people will sit up and take notice of your work..Just an idea dude!!

Yeah you're right man! I didn't mean anything bad with what i said. I just think sometimes its better to do your own stuff as much as possible. It does hurt more, coz you get harsh comments, but it makes you learn much quicker. But, keep at it alex, just get writing man!!!!! Peace!

No worries, I just think it is important to encourage new talent, especially when they show such promise :o) Alex loves this track and it has inspired him, I agree that trying to remix BF is a bit risky, but given his age and the accuracy of what he has done so far, the sky is the limit.
