This was the very first hockey game I've watched in my life since I wasn't born here in North America. I believe this is the defining moment which makes me say that I'm a proud Canadian (even though I just became a Canadian May last year). The sight of Canadians jumping for joy would never be forgotten. I must say since then I've been an avid hockey fan!
I watched this within a crowd of five life-long hockey fans. It took us a solid ten minutes or so to calm down from the initial celebration. Once the dust settled, one of the five of us was NOT bleeding and/or bruised. A broken hand is a tribute to your passion!!!
I was in a dorm in Washington State here at college. When USA scored the goal to go overtime the place erupted around me joyously. When Canada won, I fucking pounded the walls and ran through the halls with a flag. Not a single noise other than me for an hour =)
Such a tence moment, i broke my hand when i threw my fists up in the air in celebration when crosby scored, i got to the ER and everybody There was partying too, the funniest thing, 2 other people were there for the same reason as me XD
