@TreyOConner FAA part 103 regulations don't require a license but the changes in FAA regulations have nearly eliminated ALL instruction and forced us to teach our self to fly these ultralight planes.
It can get pretty wild but we are in a low wind area. I logged a stretch of over 90 days without missing a day and can fly at least 4 days a week here. Most afternoons in the winter and mornings in the summer are GREAT FLYING!
how high can an ultralight fly.
i want to get one soon.
and what are some of the laws about flying.

I want one of these just to fly around on. Do you have to have a permit or something to fly these type of aircraft?

what were the wind conditions like there? I just bought a qs mx and I haven't really got a chance to fly it yet.

I agree with you YTerer4174...I have a MXL with a 503 on her, full 3 point controls and the engine is just above my head.

Cool video. That's a great flyer at 6800'.
Thanks for sharing, and many happy landings Cap'n.

Later Sprints and Sports put the engine in the wrong place, above the wing.

If you have a stock MX the engine is below the wing just above your head.

That's great. I don't think my baby ace would even get close to leaving the ground at 6800'.
