Just thought that I would add... Please look over the Gibraltarian Referendum and see how many good and honest Gibraltarians would like to take joint sovereignty! @psrpippy there are a LOT of differences: 1st) Ceuta Melilla and canary islands are not declared "non-autonomous" territories by UN like Gibraltar or Occidental Sahara are. 2nd) Nobody question the sovereignity over canary islands (even the moors), I don't understand why you include it. 3rd) Ceuta and Melilla were given to spain by the Kingdom Portugal, before "colonisation" there was no cities, nobody living there, just a dessert land, on the contrary, Gibraltar was invaded.
