To me this is truly one of the best and most genuine Olympic moments that I have ever witnessed so far . . . not only was this one of the greatest comebacks for an athlete, but it was also a beautiful send-off for Lu Chen. This was her final amateur skate and it marked the official end of a skating era.
I still get goosebumps when she skates, and cry at the end. She was so beautiful and elegant. What a skater.

Thank goodness the AUS & HUN Judges were brought into line presumeably by the head judge/referee after the short program.

i remember watching this whole thing on tv when i was a little kid, with my mom and sister....
wow...
great memories.
i LOVED this performance. so emotional. i was so sad that michelle didn't get the gold, but i was so happy that lu chen got the bronze!!
