  • thanks for posting this. i play heel to toe on hihat, and am working on heel up, which is a learning curve. i am having trouble keeping balance....any tips on how you sit, or shift or balance your weight with heel up?

  • Love the video... but I have been havin a problem lately.... everytime when I do fast hi-hat stepping,(eg. in fills) the front of my thighs tensen up, yet I can manage the heel-toe method. It sometimes affects my playing. :( Should I relax my toes when stepping.. or could you suggest anything?
