Crappy sound quality? WHAT? This is FANTASTIC. As soon as I heard this I was like "Communion and the Oracle"! and I see that you cited Symphony X as one of our influences. I assume you are using a real guitar, if you are not, what VST is it? And very good job, by the way, this was amazing. You should seriously consider laying a drum track down and adding vocals seeing as how theres a lot of space for lyrics and going all dream theater and adding a more contrasting instrumental section before coming back to the original form. Great work though.

@MrLuisitomatute Progressive Metal. It's kinda like a mysterious or dreamy sound often with groovy rhythms and beautiful keyboards and guitar hymns and vocals are often strong, powerful and clear. Check out Dream Theater, Symphony X, Opeth, Crimson Glory, Pagan's Mind, Seventh Wonder and many others! Also the drums and bass lines are quite technical. Often use 5 string bass or 6 to get a deep heavy sound. You often find inverted rhythms and double bass in the drumming. Enjoy

i cant stand metal. i really dontt like. it is only above rap and country in my opinion. progressive meteal i like but one of my complaints is that they sometimes have trouble mixing. as in one part of the song is nice and instrumental, and then BAM your speakers explode. this is NOOOOOOOOT like that. bravo sir, bravo indeed.
