I was in The British Seaman's Boys Home on Berry Head Road, Brixham, 1969 to 1970.

Have fond memories of Brixham, went to school there, can't remember the name of the school, it was a secondary school.

Can't remember much about the names of the people there, Novella Hookings was my first Girlfriend, I was 14.........Then I left Brixham to return to the London area after I left school.

Now years later i'm typing this from my condo in Pattaya Beach Thailand.

Just got back from a week in brixham & what a beautiful little place it is! Great place to go if your old and like drinking tea and chewing on jellied eel & munching fish & chips! Didnt see any other young people anywhere apart from plymouth! needed to get home & cane my car round just to make me feel young again when I got home... but if your old or boring id say youll love it for sure and it is a beautiful place like I said as is dartmouth but NOTHING to do unless you like seawater

i go down there in august usually an the place is pretty gud - nuff young ppl - all out 4 a gud time aswell wich is always a bonus.

I used to go there from London when I was a kid and worked one summer clearing tables. Looks like it's been ruined like most places - have they really pedestrianized Fore Street? Is the Lobster Pot cafe still there in the harbour?

@RattusRattus999 I would say brixham devon it was handed on a plate . No water skiing or sailing we ride our mopeds from near stoke to brixham august 1974 and 76.
