  • I purchased mathematica 6 and i dont even know how to use it. I am in calculus 1 and in physics with calc 1 and i wish i could use it. What can i do with that program in these two courses. Its a shame i got it with out knowing how to use it, but i am willing to learn if somebody guides me the right way. So, Can somebody help me????????? The only thing I now is to paste an equation from wolfram alpha, and play around with it . Thast it. LoL !!! Wow

  • there is a window when you open mathematica, it say "the first 5 minutes with mathematica" in mathematica 6 it can help, also you can click on "help" in the up bar, and then "documentation center" it is an interactive help for all functions in Mathematica, it is not easy as a piece of cake to learn to use mathematica, but spending some time with it you can make Mathematica a greath tool for you cause it not only calculate, it worck with algebra, :P and the "If" function is greath :P :)

  • Good! I watched an example on Mathematica 7's tours (official site) and it's interesting!

  • Can you give me a way to find mathematica 6 trial besides Wolfram Site?? I made a request but they didint reply. No torrents,warez etc

    Thanks ... Greetings from Greece.

  • The only way I know to get the trial is through Wolfram. That is how I got mine before I purchased the product.

  • by the way the product is extremly expensive, it is as expensive as my computer by itself XP

  • Show the command lines in your demo so we can mimic them.

  • I'll try to put something up you can follow. I've tried before and the problem is that YouTube does not allow certain necessary characters to be placed in descriptions or comments. They think I am entering a URL. I've sent YouTube a problem report to ask if they could allow the needed characters (e.g. properly detect URLs). No response.

  • Thinking a bit more about it... I suppose the easiest thing to do is to show the commands in the video itself at the start or the end.

  • I know this is a year old, but. Animate[Plot3D[Sin[n*x+r*y^2],{x,-3,3},{y,-2,2}],{n,0,1,.01},{r,0,1,.01},AnimationRunning -> False]

  • thanks...
