God can easily forgive the sin BECAUSE His son has ALREADY shed His blood. The sacrifice has been made. Ive done this "circular" arguing/ debate ad nauseum.. sorry but its old.. if you want you should check out some christian chat web pages .. they love visitors with questions like that, and refuse to accept the answer they know their gonna hear.
the bible says god is love and love holds no records or wrongs....so if god is love and he holds no records of wrongs ...why the hell is there a day of judgment then ????? makes no sence at all .....love would never ask for a killing or a sacrifice of any thing to forgive
@decoman100 Hello there. The Bible says that LOVE holds no record of wrongs, not God. If we love someone then we will not remind them of past things. Jesus willingly chose to die for the sins of the world so that He could show us the love He has for us. If He is not accepted as our substitute then, for justice to be justice, we will have to die for our own sins and face eternity in hell. As it is, those who accept Jesus' love are forgiven. God bless, Mick
@KayBeeEee1983 Hello there. God chose to offer mankind forgivness through the shed blood of Jesus so that He could show the world the love He has for us. The fact is, Jesus was God in the flesh so God Himself shed His own blood so that a person's sins could be forgiven when he repents and puts his trust in Jesus. God has shown us His love and now He wants everyone to show their love by forsaking their sin. God bless, Mick
@christianissues You didn't even address my question. Thanks. I'll ask again. I can forgive without bloodshed, so why can't God?
And your non-answer brings up another question: How is Jesus' death a sacrifice and a show of love if he knew he was going to be resurrected afterward?
@KayBeeEee1983 You can forgive all kinds of things. but you cannot forgive sins. God is the only Being capable of that. Don't let a priest tell you they can cause their full of it, thus committing sin. I can forgive someone for hurting me but thats not forgiving their sins. I have no ability to do that. I can say that I do but that sin still rests on them in God's eyes. They still have to face God with those sins, whether I looked the other way or not.
@TheBdriver A sin is an offense against God. If someone commits an offense against me, I can forgive them, but God can't. He demands blood for those who offend him. That's not God, that's the devil.
@KayBeeEee1983 God can quite easily forgive someone for committing an offense against you, because any offense against you is a sin to Him. Someone robs you, thats a sin. If they ask His forgivness He will give it to them whether you do or not. If you choose not to that is only harming you. Its like drinking poison hoping your enemy will die. The WAGES of SIN is DEATH. Always has been, its not of the devil. Adam and Eve were deceived by the devil. This whole sin/death thing began there.
@KayBeeEee1983 Hello there. These YouTube comments confuse me. I can't tell if I have answered or not. In any case, Jesus Himself said, "This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins: (Mat 26:28). God set up the sacrificial system with the shedding of blood to show mankind His love for us. Jesus suffered terribly to show us this love. Is this what you are asking? God bless, Mick
@sweetsweatyfeet Hello there. The reason Jesus did not go to hell was because He was sinless. He took the sins of the entire human race on Himself but had no personal sin. He died as a substitute for anyone who believes in Him. Mankind will go to hell for their personal sin unless they accept Jesus' sacrifice as paying the penalty for their sins. God bless, Mick
@christianissues So all that's required is our gullibility (willingness) to believe and to say sorry. And guilt somehow becomes transferable according to Christian logic?
A man's moral stature is NOT at the mercy of someone else's actions. Substitutional atonement is a logical absurdity and a moral obscenity. So is the concept of eternal hell torment---nothing but a tool of fear used to scare the ignorant masses into accepting bronze age fraud.
@sweetsweatyfeet "If Jesus dies for only three days after which he comes alive and gets to rule the universe along side is dad, well, that's not much of a sacrifice."
Exactly, that's why the divinity of Jesus is BS. His death is only a show of love and faith if he were a human being and just accepted crucifixion to save his friends from their own painful deaths.
Hello Brother.. See Mick if we follow Jesus then we know why we shouldnt sin.. God said follow the 10 commandments..Jesus gave us an easier way his commandment was simple to love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus put the 10 commandments in 1. also obey the law given to Moses that Jesus made into the first commandment. It is still in force today, to serve "not" a church of men but our creator, the one True God, with our whole heart our whole mind our whole soul and our whole strength. bless you...
its easy my brother.... We show our love to God by our actions to each other.... i was hungry and you gave me food thirsty and you gave me drink a stranger and you welcomed me in naked and you clothed me sick and you visited me in prison and you visited me. Lord when did we do these things for you... in truth i tell you if you do these to the least of my brothers you do them to me.... So if you show love to others you show God your love for him... love and blessings to you my brother..
@TheServicetogod Hello there, I agree but if we do good things for our brothers and are deep in sin then we won't see the Pearly Gates. Many give to charity, work for the Salvos, are busy with church duties erc but are deep in sin and on the Broad Road. Jesus said we must repent or perish and the word repent, in the Greek text, means to 'continue to repent', that is, we must live a repentant life or perish. God bless, Mick
4islam3.. in Gods eyes a sin is a sin and not one is greater than another... meaning not one sin would go unpunished... he gave the life of his son so we could be forgiven for our sins.. ONLY through Jesus Christ are we forgiven.. Think about it like this. God gave up his only child to die because he loves us and wants us with him. you know what God wants from us for this sacrifice.. LOVE. our love. punishment for sin is we will die... the gift (Jesus) is we will live again if we except his gift
@TheServicetogod I agree that the Lord requires love from us but how do we show our love? In John 14:21 Jesus gives us the answer where He tells us that obedience to His commands is love. His commands are to love God and love our neighbour and that is done by not sinning against either one. Love comes back to sin ... through the power of the Spirit we can stop deliberate sin and that is how we show our love. God bless, Mick
@4islam3 You are misled in many ways. Jesus will punish all sinners who do not repent and put their trust in Him. He died so that you and I would not have to die ... that is, not be sent to hell. The wonderful thing about Jesus is that when you accept Him as Lord of your life, He gives the power to resist sin so that you can a live holy life. What you see as 'Christian' is not Christian at all but an abomination to the Lord. God bless, Mick
@christianissues Thank you for your reply but it does not make any sense.
God killed his only son, who is part of God, so he killed a part of himself, then sent his only beloved son to die to save the criminals and the rapists free.
Sorry. This does not make any sense. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever.
@4islam3 God commanded Abraham to kill his only son, the son he loved, but God then provided a goat as a substitute. Why did God do this? It was to show that later on He was going to let the Son that He loved die to become our substitute in death. So, today, we can choose to accept that Jesus died for us or we can face our own eternal death in the lake of fire. God's love for you and me was shown in the cross. God bless, Mick
@whoopiman Before the world was created, it was intended that Jesus would die for the sins of the world. It was an act of love for Jesus to die for you and I. Just before Jesus died He said, "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends". God bless, Mick
the reason why jesus had to die was because of what adam did, jesus in effect was another adam,.Adam was perfect and so when adam REBELLED, gods perfect law required another perfect man to pay back what adam had threw away and that was perfect human life, so jesus came to repay that perfect life and so balance the scales,so through one man (adam)sin entered into the world, jesus paid the ransom price and that was a perfect man for a perfect man, thats the real reason why jesus came to the earth

But if Jesus was tortured in hell forever (like Christians think will happen to atheists)---now that WOULD be a sacrifice.

"Say O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians):
Come to a word that is just between us and you, that we worship
none but Allah, and that we associate no partners with Him,

Then, if they turn away, say: "Bear witness that we are Muslims."
