  • would u recomend a diet? like foods that make u stronger or help or foods to avoid?

by the way u look great! wish i had ur legs! lol my 2 yr old never lets me poledance he starts climbing too i have to wait my turn!

  • @Cristalnava There is a lot of great info on the Studioveena forum for exercise and diet. my tips are eat small meals often and avoid packaged foods. :)

  • did you have a c section? i had one 4 weeks ago and have my follow up appointment in 2 weeks and i'm scared to get back on the pole!

  • @dollylolypop No I have never had a c section....you need to work very closely with your dr if you have had a c section before starting up pole dance again. Be careful and start off slow :)

  • Is it easier or more difficult to regain these skills after each succesive pregnancy? Just curious. This question is addressed to anyone who feels qualified to answer, not necessarily Veena.

  • Great job. You show that it's not easy. You son is so sweet. Keep it going.

  • I love that you post videos like this. It gives housewives like me the courage to go for it. Your finished work looks so flawless, that it's nice to know that you actually had to work to get it there :) You're an inspiration. ^.^

  • you are fabulous x

  • omg that was soo cute.. ur sone definatly loves his mommy! keep up the good work

  • Bravo à toi, à la fois maman, femme épanouie, tu es motivée et motivante !! J'aimerais avoir ta ténacité ;o) Merci à toi !

  • I absolutely love your poling style. You make it more artistic and beautiful than any I've seen. It never seems slutty to me, like many pole dancers do.

And your son is the cutest I have seen!

  • thank you!

  • It's actually kind of nice seeing that a dancer I admire so much (you) actually does struggle sometimes doing tricks (almost) as much as I do. You're amazing.

  • We all struggle with something at one point. :-)

  • My god woman you are so bloody amazing!!!!

And I hope you gave your son a hug for that cute comment. I love it when my girls compliment mummy's tricks :oD

  • " that was a good trick"

your son is so adorable :)

  • nothing will EVER make you look like you cannot pole dance - it is in your blood woman! Your son is ADORABLE!! Your body looks amazing so quickly, lucky girl!

  • Thank you. :)

  • Hey girlie- you're doing great. Your son is more encouraging then the grown boys in a lot of peoples lives!

  • haha true.

  • I love how slow-paced this vid is. It give us less-abled ones a chance to see how to get as awesome as you are. And I loved the cameo appearance from that adorable, blanket clad son of yours. You are awesome Veena, I enjoy watching your progress.

  • U look fantastic!! Ur the best!!

  • Great progress...ur still amazing to me...lol

  • Your son's judgement of pole dancing is excellent--that WAS a great Superman. And as far as I am concerned, you are a Super Mommy. I noticed that all of your strength moves seem at 100% or very close--it's the balance ones that seem trickier, e.g, the handspring. I think that's just the fluid cycle re-balancing itself as the normal process of uterine contraction occurs. In a few months, the distribution of weight will return to normal and moves requiring balance will normalize, too. Great vid!

  • Looks can be deceiving..I'm still not nearly as strong as before, Normally I don't have to grunt and groan though every move.lol Balance is an issue for me...I'm still 12lbs heavier that before (which I don't mind a bit) I know that doesn't sound like much, but it throws everything off a bit partly because of the extra weight and less ab strength. But I do like a challenge!!

  • i think you're doing awesome. its only been six weeks! x

  • Thanks :)

  • Wow, that was a pretty good practice and I love your kids talking in the background LOL. And for someone who just had a baby after 6 weeks? Your body surely rocks! Keep dancing, veena. We'll be patiently waiting for your videos.

  • Thanks I hope to do a "real" vid soon

  • aww :D "That was a good trick". I think you did well! Keep it going.

Have you taught your sons to do tricks with your pole?

  • I should follow my own advice when I say this to you but don't be so hard on yourself! I actually started pole dancing because I saw one of your videos earlier this year and was really inspired by it, so I will always think you are fabulous.

Also you look great for just having a baby...I'm 22 and have no kids and you have a better body than I do, eep! :) Keep practicing you'll get back to where you were in no time

  • Thats so nice to here. I hope your enjoying pole dance! I think we're our own worst enemy.

  • the baby is so cute.. and i love your after baby tummy heh mad love to yu!

  • You still have a slamming body, so don't get too frustrated. It took work to get where you were at, and it will take some work to get back. I am sure you will push yourself and get back, even better, than before.

  • I hope so thanks.

  • my girl was petite and at 3 now..BANG she really grew, but ur bod had had a baby not long b4, so BE AMAZED WITH YOURSELF OK? my 1st two were 15 mo apart, ouch, lol. ur great keep goin and ur givin me inspiration, i told hubby this yr, or never, lol. bless ya, ur awesome, so glad the boys allow u to pole at least..mostly right? hehe, my lil girl still demands constant entertainment so i gotto leave the entire floor to practice, if it wasnt for hubby...lol:) keep on rockin girl..much luv, shelly

  • Aaww thanks. Yes the child wandering though will be 3 in 8 days. You guessed it right on!! My first two boys were 14 months apart, I think it was easier though cuz now they play well together. We do have alot in common!! :-)

  • veena...yes ur bein hard on yourself, u look great & r definately gettin stronger & if my hubby left town, i dont think id have ANY hair left lol. i have zero patience w/ myself & lots of others to. we are alot alike, as i get older i think it goes down just a wee bit tho:) i c ur cutie pie son who walked by looks only lk 2 1/2 or POSS. 3...hard 2 tell from just a quick glance, soo hard to tell, ill guess the 2.5...but who knows, dont kill me on this one, lol..they all are different sizes

  • maybe 2 and 3 mo...ok now im thinkin too much about this, lol, he looks so sweet and tiny but he talks pretty well hard to tell lol. all i know is, i dont know how old your oldest is, but if you had 'em all between 2-3 even 4 yrs apart man girl, YOU GO!!! the bod is hiding all of your secrets. mine did until this last one. i shouldnt complain too much, it can always be worse but inside i still do:) h&h, and i think ur doin great:) impressive

  • You can see the improvement already!

Wish I could do a handspring like that........ I've still not done one and I don't have any kind of excuse like having a baby!

    Well done :-)

  • Veena you need to be kinder to yourself! xx That was a good practice (and NOT boring!) you are stronger than your last post (and still miles better than me of course!! lol!) and you've been ill and had no sleep, goodness gracious!

Your baby was sweet, my little boy said "wow" when I did an invert in front of him for the first time...he made my heart smile, they are wonderful :o)

  • aw the baby is adorable!

  • Great video, Veena. We all know how incredible you really are, so this video is truly inspiring. You are feeling like you are almost starting over, so it shows just how much work and dedication it takes to become Super Pole Dancer Veena again!! LOL LOVED the kids and the comment! You really are a SUPERWOMAN!!

  • Thanks! You know... I think instead of the superman move I think we should change it to the superwoman!

  • I agree totally!!!

  • Hey Veena! U need to give yourself some credit! I can see, as Im sure anyone else who has been watching your progress can see, that you really are making good progress! Keep it up!!

Love the bit when your son said "That was a good trick." Soooooo cute! :D

  • Oh thank you. Like I said I have patients with others but not myself. :)

  • Hi there! nice to see you again!

Looking much stronger, and not a stretch mark in site!!, well done and thank you for sharing xx.

  • oh, unfortunately the stretch marks are there shhh. don't tell. lol

  • Give yourself some more credit, your doing amazing (especially for being 6 weeks postpartum)!!! You look great and your son in the background is waaaay too cute (my daughter likes to critique too) : )

  • thanks, ya its nice to get encouragement from the little one...in one spot he can tell I'm upset and he goes "are you tying to get to the top mommy" funny.

  • How prescious, gotta love them. When I was learning shoulder mounts my girl looked at me and was like "don't worry mommy you'll get up there"! Keep it up, I love watching the progress : )

  • oh wiw so fab to watch ur progress u getting stroner and stronger well done missy

  • thanks

  • considering you only had a bab y six weeks ago you are bloody amazing, so many strong looking tricks. fab xx

  • I think it was sweet when your son told you, "That was a good trick." You look really amazing at 6 weeks post partum and though you did sound pretty frustrated a few times, you -are- getting stronger!

  • You are looking good, and are getting stronger every video. Your son is cute too. You will be up to par in almost no time.

  • I hope so. :)

  • Loved this video! So cute to see your chldren interacting with mommy while she works out :) You are way too hard on yourself! I saw handsprings and superman, and hip holds, and all kinds fo stuff in there!!! GREAT JOB lady :)

  • thank you. :)

  • your little boy is so cute...! looking alot stronger than your last postpartum vid..!! Keep up the great work!!

  • you think...I don't know I just want to be back to where I was soooo bad.

  • you will, try to remember it took you a while to get to that level. A short while, but it was a process!! Keep it up!

  • true...thanks for the encouragement.

  • anytime!! ;)

i think the longest ive ever been off the pole is 3 mos, and i felt like i lost ALOT of strength.

So i can only imagine 6+ mos, plus making room for a baby in my stomach!

You know youll get back there girl!! xoxox

  • Love the little one coming in to announcing "Here's one I can use" Your getting your strength back. Looking beautiful as always.

  • thanks

  • wow your doing so well! theres so many moves that you did that i realy want to do but there so hard. speically the superman....straight edge... i love watching

  • thanks...I was really happy with finally being able to do the superman again.
