i rememebr i met ryan jenkins once when i was around 12 years old at the grant solder summer event i played his son who was very good and he was like 2 years younger than me but i still beat him in the end on advantadge 2-2 and won 3-2 i remember the last point was a intensive point and a rally and then i see ryan jenkins clapping for me against his own son lo. Then i moved to the top table :)

Ryan behaves like a gentleman and has much better control of his emotions.

If Gavin can control his emotions he can play even better IMO

Nice points in there Rumgay wasn't as positive in the last 3 games, whether that was the class of his opponent or him losing confidence, im not sure...

@JagJag363 Ryan Jenkins is a class opponent - number 2 in Wales and just back from the Europeans (plus he beat Gavin in their last match).

Gavin wasn't quite himself. He kept bottom edging the ball, which he said has never been a problem before. He had just flown back from an intensive training camp in China, so I suspect he might have been a little jet-lagged or wasn't able to adapt to the conditions during this game (having played in one venue for a period of time).
