watching these, seeing how the songs are put together, really make you listen to them in a whole different way; now when i hear them, i hear the song as a whole like before, but i also hear the bass line, i hear the drums, i hear the choir, each for their own individual beauty.
I believe they had enough songs already. The new songs changed the album direction almost too much. Taylor's expression at the end reveals what he thought of the need to write more songs...
I don't know if they are uploaded here already, but on their iTunes podcast you can also listen to "special deliveries" videos. The first one is between ep 14 and 15 and it's awesome ^^
when I first got the album I couldnt adjust to it after how much I loved Underneath and I thought that nothing could compare to Underneath, but then I realised it was familiarity that made me love it so much.
After listening to The Walk a few times I fell in love with it also and now I dont know why I didnt see how amazing it is straight away.
I think its because its a little different. Its amazing!
At first there were 3 - 4 songs i majorly like, but now it's al most all the album. It's a REAL grower. Songs i might not have switched on to one way or the other end up getting in your head. REAL grower of an album!
Definitely! I think that can be said about many Hanson songs, especially ones that take a few times to listen to to really "get", or the ones that are less likely to be "singles". That is why I appreciate being able to see into the creative process of how the songs are put together... That, and seeing/hearing certain songs live really allow for a connection to develop with the song.
god i cant wait to hear the album. the flavor i'm getting from TtW: making of seems to be something totally unique in our time. the sound is sweet as honey, has a grit like sand, hard like leather, but somehow smooth like silk in a way. so... in the words of ron burgundy... "drink it up, it always goes down smooth."
Lol I feel like Blue Sky was written about that soda in the video call blue sky lol
