When anyone looses sight that "wild animals" are JUST that; they loose respect for the dangerous/natural world. Bears are not our friend or pets and Tim T. misjudged and constantly took risks for a long time that it was only time where natures animals would take him. He placed his camp in the most dangerous area of bears..against park rules and risked his life and his girlfriends..sadly his ego and ignorance got both him and his girl friend killed. If you love wild animals..leave them alone.

You could tell how nervous he was when things got creepy, but I still think playing with dangerous wild animals is not a good idea. I would never have taken that chick up there though. After pondering on it for a while. How can anyone argue that animals have human emotions? The same dog that does not harm your child will kill another. Pets are used as protection, the same ones that are also peoples pets. In St. Louis a few years ago, a young boy was walking home, and was attacked and eaten by stray dogs people didn't want anymore. These were once house pets. Do not think for one second any animal won't attack you, they will when-ever the right conditions present themselves.

Some people buy a motorcycle and you think, he will not even survive 2 seasons. Timothy took a big risk, but people do that every day. I had the great experience of living alongside Alaska bear country for a year while in the military. We were near Katmai Nat'l Park and we were constantly reminded that is was bear counry, to respect that. Seeing bears in the wild was something I'll never forget. Unfortunately, Tim's actions there were contrary to every safety briefing's # 1 rule, it's up to YOU to keep your distance, not the bear. Over and over again, Tim violated that simple rule. Finally, it caught up to him.

If a bear appears they will shoot it because they are affraid of them and want to sleep good at night. So people just kill them because they want to camp in there territory. No it isn't. When a prof race pilot dies in an accident, it is called a "freak accident" for a reason. Yes the chances are there that you may die. But hanging out with grizzly bears your chances of dying are much much much higher. When a prof race driver dies it is sad because it is cool thing to do and it is understandable why someone would do it and the chances are pretty low that you will die.
