  • Nice wheelies there, good sounding bandit...... and btw nice P+J paper on the table there, iv got a 06 blade and an old 600 (toy) bandit

  • you've just shown your car reg plates up here dude, just hope the cops ain't watching this, (nice wheelies)

  • Great vid love your bandit and good skills on the rear wheel

  • the best thing about this vid is that it makes the B12 look and sound scary as fuck to ride :D

the wind noise was pretty intense!

do you find with the jack up kit the lean is much greater on the side stand than before, and that the main stand is useless? mine looks like it's leanin into a corner when i put it on the stand.

  • Nice ride out mate . Thanks for sharing.

  • excellent stuff, what its all about!

  • Nice bandit but your kitchen is awesome:P

  • that sweet oil dirty bastard sound ;)

  • what type of camera is it?

  • got a 600 bandit this vid made my mind up the 1200 is next

  • Thats what I love about bandits, built like tanks pretty fast and just awesome fun.

  • cool as fuck

  • very nice bike:D

  • cool vid

  • cool vid

  • man you are so fucking dangerous someone could get seriously hurt, a trampoline without a safety net in your back garden, words fail me!! lol , nice riding though, just what the bike was made for ripping down those back lanes.

  • Very cool, very well made, great perspective and the original, crisp sounds fits perfectly. I enjoyed to watch it, will look at it again :-)

  • ca manque vraiment de vrais roues arrieres mais il faut bien debuter !!!

  • Is it worth getting it jetted? much different from stock?

  • nice kitchen

  • I love the power!!!! we use these in our Dwarf race cars, check my videos out :)

  • Yes the wheelies are power wheelies, the one at speed was because there was a small hill on the straight and she comes up bonnie as you like with just a little pull on the bars.

  • The bike is standard with a few mods without splitting the crank,

    Taylor Leads,

    Dyna Coils,

    K & N Filter

    Race Can

Carbs were reworked by Holeshot Engineering, larger jets and set up.

    Jack Up Kit

    Renthol Handle Bars.

  • @Frago65 were you clutching? or were those all power wheelies?

  • @Frago65 Do you think the Dyna coils and leads make a difference??

  • is that a stock 1200?

  • @CoonBabble I want to know that also!

  • @MrMusclefish if so, it sounds pretty beefy. its weird it has double the displacement of a 600 bandit and only 20 more horsepower.

  • Nice ber belly! (I have one, too...and a Bandit 12)

  • nice easy cruise to the market eh?

  • You should get in the habit of dismounting on the left side. It'll save your leg from being burned by the exhaust.

  • @javabaja , well if youve been riding for more than a week and you wear proper gear it doesnt really matter what side you get off. its not a fu@Kin horse man

  • @olivedrabme No need to get mad, negative nancy... Its a tip. I wasn't paying attention one day and WHAM! Nice ol' chunck of calve missing...

  • @javabaja sry. just having fun screwing with people on these rediculous comments.

  • supose we could all ride tractors eh..........mmmm harleys sound like just the ticket!

  • good enough video but why take over a minute to get on the damn bike? what a waste.

  • Nice wheelies man.Just got myself a Bandit 1200 a month ago. What a machine.Pure torque,I love it.I live in the West coast of Scotland, nothin but single track roads and caravanettes. The Bandit's the boy for the job...Check out a vid called Bandit rip.Its not me but it shows the pulling power on a B12.Awsome. Spot on m8...

  • awsome video m8 ive had my b6 for two years now and thought of upping it to twelve youve just made my mind up thanks

  • you are a good rider i have many respekt from you

  • ich sage nur echt geil bist ein echt guter fahrer

  • Ja, ist gut.

  • fuck me that thing has got some power

  • awsome man

  • Comment removed

  • U know scientists have found a method to cut video´s. Nice wheelie´s tho

btw. Bandit 1200 has around 130 hp, and compared to a SS u dont really miss a thing, if u consider the higher maintain costs.

  • your bike is awesome ^^ but the noise from the wind is not so cool *ggg*.. i cant hear the real sound of the engine.. :((

  • Agreed, would love to hear the engine but can only hear the wind, real pity

  • the original and best bandit, shame that the later ones were no where near the same in charm character and wheelie ability

  • Don´t understand what u guys are saying, is the Bandit 1200 hard to drive? I´m 21, just got my license and driving a Bandit 1200. It´s a great engine, realy hi torch but only 105 Hp. Thats Not Extreme

  • it's quiet heavy, i would suggest you learn to ride and steer on a bandit 600 and after 1-2 years buy a 1200. Seriously.

  • i agree, i my first road bike was a bandit 600, then a R6, the R6 in the corners will eat a bandit because of its riding position and light weight, i jumped onto my mates 1200 and couldnt belive the weight difference! first corner i had the foot pegs scraping the ground! great fun, gonna get me a bandit 1200 now! naked bikes all the way!!

  • @NielsMF the 6 and tyhe 12 bandits weight the same

  • Sick ride :D love your bike which year is it?

  • Bandit 600 maybe, not the 1200, they are heavy on the corners, soft as shit suspension makes them very hard to drive. the best engine in the world, in the shitist frame.

  • lol, you gotta be a real man to drive a Bandit 1200, it's not for children, use the child version if you want (600)

    ahahah

    LEWSER !

  • lol, yeh you gotta be a real man to ride a 1200 cc blamange. but in the U.S you dont have real roads, like here in Ireland.

  • highway 1, budday

  • you've obviously never been to the Appalachian mountains, the Rocky Mountains, or the Ozarks. plenty of kick ass roads in the states.

  • No i never have been to the u.s, im sure you have some nice twisties over there, but im talking about real roads with potholes the size of your front wheel, and where the council has droped 4 ton of loose gravel on a bend to " resurface" it. With dickhead farmers dropping turf, slury, rocks or what ever else they feel like, before parking thier fukin tractor on a blind corner, Roads policed buy the biggest cocksuckers in the world. god bless america, and its Pussy ass roads, (im only jelous)

  • we have that kind of stuff. just go into the rural farm areas of the east coast where they haven't paved anything in 30 years

  • That"s what makes the ride interesting ;-)

I had one for 5 years ! Great bike !

  • I've been riding since '84, my '97 1200S Bandit was hella great on accel, but the corners were a bit on the sketchy side...spongy and wobbly. My experience, at least.

  • other springs in the forks do wonders, so as the rear spring. or make the bike a little bit higher by using tailrisers.

    i bet i can smoke a R1 with a bandit 1200 on the track !

  • @NielsMF i know my dad could

  • you dont really need a front wheel as it is in the air so much .... pretty cool

  • nice riding man, very nice.

  • Good stuff. Love the Bandit. A little editing and this is gold!

  • very nice

  • i know where you live.... im gona rob your house..... only joking! my stepdad has a bandit they accelerate like fukin beasts.

  • nice vid could have done with less of the crap at the start and less of your house at the end lol......was that on a vholdr camera

  • Remember to use the Stop button.

    :D

  • Odalzin, I could not it was in the back pack.!!

  • this vid rocks, love the cam angle.

  • rather ride jap crap than american ass aye boys

  • @rgrifle American bikes are fat, slow, and ugly.

  • Lol We've got a few here that know nothing about bikes apparently. I know of very few bike manufacturers that make "crap". Especially Yamaha Honda Kawasaki and Suzuki. The engineering on most any bike now is extremely good, American made included. Those kinds of statements are usually made by the ignorant or brand loyalists (one in the same I guess).

  • co za kretyn jedzie lewą stroną

  • nie zastanawiałeś się może nad tym że film kręcono w Anglii ?

  • Nice video !

  • question, can you tell me exactly what mods? i ave inazuma and it pulls crazy but i know it can do more...it is the same engine as b12..cheers..

  • Really liking the perspective there - makes a refreshing difference from all the tank cam stuff. It's great to see a wheelie from the riders position :)

My dad had a Bandit 1200S when he was a bit younger and absolutely loved it. I'm thinking about doing my bike test this year (22 now so insurance is a bit better). Had a 125 when I was younger but was forced into getting a car when I threw it down the road lol :(

Anyway mate good vid! More please! ;)

  • Yes indeed it is a Monster have done some of the same to my B12 and i just like rolling on the gas and the front comes up so smooth no poopin the clutch at all . :)

  • i just up graded from a gsxr-750 to a bandit 1200s and it has allot more pull than my 750 did

  • If that KM/H speedo is geared the same as my MPH speedo on my Bandit 1200S, at 1:50 it's reading an indicated 110mph-120mph. This is a testament to how brutal the 1200 really is. I own one myself and have to say, they are indeed as stated before, MENTAL! I have clip on's instead of flat bars, a ton of stuff stripped off it including the fairing. Picking up the front wheel at 110mph is no problem, I bought a steering damper. If you want 100+rwhp and 70+ftlb this is your bike! Bought mine for $2k.

  • thats a nice bike thinkin of a 1200 as well looks like tons of power to me man whats the cornering and o-60 like.

    cheers

  • question....is this standard bandit? en how much ps is putting on the back weel?

  • what camera/helmet cam are you using? nice ride.. tons of wheelies..
