  • EPIC !!!

  • Man this shit just made me pull out my old Born Again album and now I am blowin' up the house. :D

  • Espero que el tiempo nos deje verlos en concierto y si no tiempo y vida para mas

  • Es musica para Angeles

  • fucking great band, dud!!!

  • Fucking great band!!!

  • they definitely should get Ashmedi of the band Melechesh on board for a whole album, the guy is armenian from jerusalem knows his contemporary metal , a guitarist, a composer, played all over the world and even Armenia and totally loves Iommy , Gillan and co.

  • epic song is epic

  • great !!! GREAT !!!

  • sounds like bad prog. rock, or something that U2 would do... It's depressing knowing how good some of these artists are.

  • ian an iommi an butler an ward need to make another album. definitely good vibes between gillian and iommi when they get together

  • @Narmianae

Tökéletes a szó, amit erre használtál :) Egyszerűen nem lehet jobban leírni..:)

  • I'm Lost, I Wanna Know If Lindstrom plays in this song or not?

    : /

  • @KorpseKiddxXB13 he did

  • @KorpseKiddxXB13 after all, Lindstrom dates Tonys daughter.

  • @kjn5991 Oh, Holy Shxt, Random Fact of the Day! :D

But it seems a lil off that they give him the least credibility :/

  • Fantastic. Love the song & everyone in it

  • Jason newsted brought me here. Not that it matters or anybody cares.

  • support Ian Gillan and Iommi!

  • man, this fucking rocks!!!

  • Wish these guys would put out an entire disc of new material, I would definitely buy it.

Also good to see Newsted getting a nice gig, even if it is only two songs.

  • @Soxpert those three voivod albums were great too. i'm totally for any project where you can actually hear newsted play his bass (ie. everything he's been in except for metallica).

  • @Soxpert It's one song actually. On "Holy Water" the bassist is Rodney Appleby.

  • 3 people had arrowhead water, not holy.

  • hmm.gillan..lord....and when iommi start a tour with sabbath, blackmore comes in? hmm and then a third mark 2 reunion?

  • @ArpeggioBear whatever you're smoking, can you give me some plz? =)

  • @ArpeggioBear

    Don't hold your breath

  • i love this song ..its defo nicko on drums by the way ...that ride cymbal is unmistakable

  • @777ummy: The drummer doesn't sound like Nicko at all. Not even close. Nicko has a very different approach of rhythms.

  • the lyrics leave something to be desired, but still a pretty solid song

  • ..and Nicko didn`play on this song, in drums? Why Randy Clarke? Feels like McBrain tough!

  • Amazing.

Leave it to some REAL rockers to create awesome, powerful music worth listening to.

  • I really enjoy this song. It's just got a certain power to it that you don't hear anymore in Rock/Metal music.

  • This song is great. From what I've heard, the line-up from the picture is featured only on the song Out Of My Mind. On this song, the line-up must be the one from the credits. However, like some people around here said before: it's not Steve Morse who plays guitar on this song, it seems to be Steve Morris indeed, but Morse wrote it. Gillan said that ‘Holy Water’, was a bit different as I wrote that with Steve Morse (DEEP PURPLE) and Tony was gracious enough to play guitar on it.”

  • this is great!

  • Amazing!!!

Usually these supergroup fundraiser type projects are horrible but this is really really great!

They should change the lame name and release a album for fucks sake.

  • By it's philosophical lyrics and extremely deep, thoughtful mood it reminds me Before Time Began from the Rapture Of The Deep album

  • absolute MASTERPIECE! Gillan on his top, both by singing and lyrically

  • @JaumapaXD

    then you're deaf

  • for a good cause but this song sucks.

  • why does this have so few views ?

  • @MrNarcoleptik maybe its the lack of promotion behind it. I know i only found this song because i wanted to know what Jason Newsted was up to. I found out about this page through that. Boy am i glad i found it. this song is awesome

  • fantastique, le plus grand super groupe in the world

  • @AbsoluteRPadmin....WAC

  • This music beats Chinese Democracy in the record : longest boring music intro.

  • @AbsoluteRPadmin .........."WhoCares" what you think about the intro!!!

  • Now, that's real music!

  • Lineup for the ‘b-side’ Holy Water: Vocals: Ian Gillan Guitars: Tony Iommi , Steve Morris, Michael Lee Jackson Drums: Randy Clarke Bass: Rodney Appleby Hammond organ: Jesse O’Brien Duduk solo: Arshak Sahakyan Underlying duduk intro music & keys: Ara Gevorgyan

  • f-ing brilliant......

  • Great song written by Gillan and Morse. Looking forward to the new Deep Purple album, if they keep up this standard. \m/

  • fucking lin up for a fucking song, beautiful!!!!!!!!!

  • Armenian duduk )))))))))

  • PERFECT

  • One dislikes ?!?!?! Is he Crazyyy ????? Long Live Tony Iommi !! This is the MASTERPIECE !.

  • This is a damn good track. Gotta love those Hammond sounds. <3

  • take tony iommi, jason newsted and ian gillian, put em with a few other guys and this! is what is pure old metal was all about! \\M// !!

  • cool song!

  • I'm not gonna argue with anyone, this is my final post.

You all forgot a couple of years ago when Ian released One Eye to Morocco, everyone spitted on it. No one like it because he used some strange things, and there were no rock songs. Back then i didn't want to say anything, i stood quiet cause Ian's my favorite singer.

But this thing is the same, just because Iommi & Lord are here doesn't mean it's fabulous. Those two songs are not bad, but they are nothing special..

    That's all

  • @Gillanfan89 Give us an exemple of what you consider good.

  • @1970GWB

I've told i won't argue with anyone, but you asked me for my opinion. He are a most recent examples of those three fantastic musicians which are good (by my choice). I'm not comparing golden days of their careers just recent work.

    1. Heaven & Hell - The Devil You know album (there are 4 fabulous songs from Tony, which were made in recent years)

    2. Jon Lord on Danger white man dancing album (with fabulous contribution by Ian on two tracks)

    3. And it would be Ian's Gillan's Inn

  • @Gillanfan89 I di not spit on it, and I really love The Sky Isv Falling Down (which, btw, is a rock song ;) )

  • Real Armenian National Music With Perfect Hard Rock!!! Well Done!!!!!!

  • STEVE MORRIS, NOT STEVE MORSE!

  • Fantastic Intro and atmosphere...this mix is genial...after inventig Heavy Metal singig Gillan still has something to teach...

  • The song is written by Ian Gillan and Steve Morse, the information comes from Mr. Gillan. in person.

  • @MAPPAZ are you sure he is not Steve MORRIS? On Thehighwaystar is credited him. However i don't hear Steve MORSE playing in this track

  • @Gillan91 Oops, maybe I've made a mistake?

  • @Gillan91 Yes, it is Steve Morris not Morse and Morris is also playing on this track. Morse is not involved at all in this project,

  • @Gillan91 he could still have written it!

  • @Gillan91 No, the song is written indeed by Steve MORSE (along with Gillan). But it seems that Steve MORRIS indeed is playing guitar here. However, Morse doesn't play guitar in this song, he just co-wrote the song.

  • @MAPPAZ NO! Steve Morse is Deep Purple's current guitarist, but Steve MoRRIS is Gillan's solo band mate.

he wrote this song with Steve Morris

  • @LocoProm Ok, thanks for information.

  • @MAPPAZ

I think the lineup is the one in the picture...

  • @hukkunut no: the lineup is written in the credits

  • @Gillan91

Where did you get that info?

  • @hukkunut on TheHighwayStar

  • @Gillan91 noo the line up is the picture, read all about the single they released. it was even written on the iron maiden web site that nicko mcbrian is going to be drumming for this, hens him in the picture

  • @hukkunut The line-up on the sleeve refers to A-side "Out Of My Mind". "Holy Water", its B-side, was recorded with the line-up mentioned in the description.

  • @MAPPAZ It's Steve Morris, not Morse.

  • I didn't want to offend anyone.

I have nothing against Armenian traditional music or anyones, just for me that kind of background isn't suitable for hard rock songs

  • @Gillanfan89

    bullshit!

  • @Gillanfan89 Well, I think it does work for some artists sometimes. For example, Metallica used Indian music wisely on Whenever I May Roam.

  • @Gillanfan89 , YES , ESPECIALLY WHEN IT IS STOLEN FROM OTHERS - FROM AZERI NATIONAL MUSIC PARTICULARLY.

  • Magic!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pure passion!!!

  • wwwwwwoooooooowwwww!

  • awesome...masters of (heavy metal) music...

  • Мощный проект!Молодцы!!!

  • VERY NICE!!

  • Is it Jivan Gasparyan?

  • This is BETTER than Out Of My Mind ! Am I joking? NO! Gillan sounds simply amazing on this song.

  • Very nice song by Ian Gillan, Steve Morse e Tommi Iommi with their friends. The armenian intro is beautiful! Great Ian, a gift to armenian people and to all his fans!

  • @MAPPAZ Morse?He was not involved in this,as I know.

  • not as good as OUT OF MY MIND imo but still a great track

  • Great song!

Sounds like some ballad by current Deep Purple with soft touch of Black Sabbath gloominess. And eastern intro is also very good! Great song!

  • @ivanidze92 and the bass of metallica

  • @Metallica8315 sure :)

  • This one's much better than Out of my Mind

But i don't like the Turkish intro and background....

It's good, but i'm afraid nothing special. Those three can do it so much better and harder !

For me it looks like those fabulous musicians missed their point. I mean they don't have a point with those two songs. It's very sterile and plane, no emotions and energy. And you can't even recognize Maestro Lord on keyboards, like he was left out. I was expecting so much more from them....

  • @Gillanfan89 this is armenian melody

  • @Gillanfan89 It seems that you don't know anything about duduk and this song. Read description and info about this album. how did you manage to find a turkish intro in this song.

    p.s.Einstein was right.

  • @artalex8

You also don't anything about my countries traditional music.....

  • @Gillanfan89 Turkishhh!??? Hey man are ok? It's Armenian Duduk

  • @ZackDemirtshyan

Sarcastically i said Turkish, i presumed it had something to do with Armenia... still i don't like that kind of sound in a heavy rock song....

  • This song gets better! and BETTER!! u more u listen to it.

    Great song!!
