Even i don't like Rampage like that, In UFC , one of the rules is that when a fighter is more aggressive than his opponent, he get points for that for example Round 1 and 2: Rampage and Machida really didn't land SIGNIFICANT or GOOD punches to each other, but they land few jabs and some light legkicks that are not very effective. The reason Rampage won those two rounds is because he was being more AGGRESSIVE than Machida, which the judges gave him points for.

First of all I am a bigger fan of Machida than Rampage, but Rampage won the fight. He won the first round because of Aggression and Octagon Control. He won the second because of that Takedown, even though Machida was back up quick, and Aggression and Octagon Control. The third round definitely went to Machida, hence the split decision. All Machida really did is land a couple of knees and leg kicks in the first two rounds. I was impressed by Machida's chin and how he rocked Rampage. How about BJ?

He will be aggressive too unlike Thiago Alves when he fought Fitch. BJ also has very good Takedown Defense and Great BJJ. Fitch has a great chin though and a black belt in BJJ along with great wrestling. It is a tough one to call, but Fitch will probably end up winning.

And as far as what Rampage said, he said it because first off he is humble and givin props to Machida, and because he wanted to finish with a KO so bad, goin to decision felt like losing to him. @Gacktosan3 But answer me this, if the first two rounds are deadlocked, who does the round go to?? The aggressor! Remember the rules of judging Striking, Grappling, AGGRESSION and OCTAGON CONTROL! Two of the points Rampage clearly had. That means Rounds 1 and 2 go to Rampage, and since Machida couldn't finish Rampage, he only wins the round but not the fight, end of story Rampage wins by decision 29 to 28.

First of all I am a bigger fan of Machida than Rampage, but Rampage won the fight. He won the first round because of Aggression and Octagon Control. He won the second because of that Takedown, even though Machida was back up quick, and Aggression and Octagon Control. The third round definitely went to Machida, hence the split decision. All Machida really did is land a couple of knees and leg kicks in the first two rounds. I was impressed by Machida's chin and how he rocked Rampage. How about BJ?

@ziNtUiTioN Yeah a lot of people are tossing the bombs "robbery" particularly Ed Soars lol; I agree with you it was close but Rampage looked like he wanted it that much more and pushed the pace. I think Machida was gracious in defeat too because of his free lunch he got with his first fight with Shogun so now things seem pretty even. A rematch maybe; I it'd be better Rampage should fight Phil Davis, Matt Hamill, or winner of Forest vs Ace. BJ got a little lucky this time. Fitch will kill him.

@FunkMastaMegaFlex I don't know, Fitch could be in for a very tough fight. BJ has great boxing skills and could definitely outstrike Fitch. He will be aggressive too unlike Thiago Alves when he fought Fitch. BJ also has very good Takedown Defense and Great BJJ. Fitch has a great chin though and a black belt in BJJ along with great wrestling. It is a tough one to call, but Fitch will probably end up winning.
