Hi i have one of these and i have a stage piano and a synthisiser (juno G) how do i play my piano into the voice live touch so i can make piano loops as well as vocal loops , is it possible ?
@LESSISMORE9999 Hiya, Yes you can use reverb and delay at the same time as they are indepentantly controlled. The talk function is to specifically turn all effects off except "Tone" so you can talk to your audience in a normal clear voice. However, you can save up to 25 favourites with your preferred settings and recall them at any time - so there's no reason you couldn't set one up with delay and reverb for talking if you wish.
I would like to see more demos with midi keyboard(s). It would help to get a better understanding of the unit's potential using midi implementations. Thanks!
@rockq22 Hiya, Yes the VoiceLive Touch does contain the hard-tune effect - it doesn't however contain a vocoder. You could get quite close to a vocoder sound though. This can be triggered by midi/keyboard.
It's been almost 3 months and I still haven't been able to use my VoiceliveTouch at a gig because I'm still not confident with it.
Namely - First time I tried, while browsing the presets for a particular effect, the slider stopped on a distortion preset which caused immediate feedback and almost blew the audience out of the room. Charming.
The user manuel hasn't been very helpful - will TCHelicon ever provide an all-visual manuel anytime soon particularly regarding Quickshots & MIDI controller?
@ToughLoveRecords I think i have the Touch for... i don't know... 6 hours now, and i already set it up with 5 presets as my favourites, presetes that i have also adjusted to my personal taste, it's really a no brainer... can't see how in the world you have it for three months and still don't know how to use it.. i mean... SERIOUSLY ?????
@ToughLoveRecords Well if you would have saved some favourites, you wouldn't need to browse the presets in front of you audience.. and make that oh so good impression on them .. you know.. when they " almost blew out of the room " kinda experience... but then again.. why do something right the first time when you can screw it up and blame it on the machine that YOU don't know how to use..
@ToughLoveRecords Hiya, If you check our channel we've just uploaded some new VoiceLive Touch videos which you may find helpful. Also, please feel free to get in touch with our support team anytime via the support area of our website - they're there to help :).
When I hook up the MIDI keyboard to my laptop, and the Voicelive Touch MIDI to the laptop...I can't hear that's it doing anything except putting my midi volume way higher than normal and on the same channel that I have the Voicelive Touch XLR plugged into it.
@ToughLoveRecords Hiya, The VoiceLive Touch will loop a keyboard which is plugged into the AUX input. It will only loop audio but not MIDI data. For help with your set-up/troubleshooting, I'd suggest contacting TC-Helicon's support team via the support section on the TC-Helicon website. Please note, the full manual is available for free download via the website also - this may be useful as it is the new extended version of the manual with alot more deatail.
@tchelicon - That tiny lil' input in-between the MIDI & Guiat IN/Thru jacks? What kind of cable is that small on one end and what would the other end need to be since my only outputs from the keyboard are USB-out & 1 midi. :/
I imagine the footswitch is necessary for Musicians who can't go hands-free when playing....which would be almost all of them. Thanks for the help!
@ToughLoveRecords Hiya, That connection is a minijack connector. You will need to send the audio from your keyboard to the aux in and you may need a 2x TRS to minijack cable (which you can buy form any decent music / electrical store). If your midi keyboard is just a controller then you need to take the output from the audio source (eg. sound module, daw etc) and direct this into the Aux in. Hope this helps :)
Laura is such an incredible singer and her demo are so professional and catchy that's truly inspiring. TC helicon does fantastic stuff but she brings the heart in that really showing us all how technology is meant to be used in a creative process.I'm sold! please let Laura know that she must finish the song soon it's so sweet and beatiful. Thanks!
@YetAnotherBeginner Aren't you lovely :). I'll certainly pass that on to her on your behalf. Yes, she's a stunning vocalist and we're lucky to have her!
@acktarus Hiya, Yes - there is definitely enough room to be creative with the looping feature of VoiceLive 2. However, for the ultimate looping experience - VoiceLive Touch is the go!
that was a Nord of some sort wasnt it?

This video made me get it. Laura Clapp makes the best voicelive touch demos and her beautiful voice has no need for pitch correction.

Can this the unit be used to control the vocals via a midi keyboard like a vocoder?
