There are no critical animations in FE1 either way, save for Marth, so the only way to tell is through the different sound effect and the extra damage. In addition, critical hits always deal damage that is divisible by 3, so an 11 damage hit can't be a critical.

yup marth originated in Fe 1 like in melee and brawl is whta he got famous for. roy was just a chosen kid in number 3 but at the end they chose Ike a guy whos been in a lot of fire emblem games and THEE marth the number 1 fire emblemer
