@simonbellringer yes I have heard it. Would like to revisit here and get a better video - this was taken on my phone in between dropping my old camera and the new one arriving. I rang the tenor to the quarter which was very nice to ring, though I then rang some of the others before the service which were rather lumpier, if I recall.
@KDowner94 they are good, but not quite as stunning as I had been told. Perhaps that is because they are a bit quiet. Would love to go back with my new camera - was using my phone at this point because the previous camera had been dropped, which did it no good at all...
This is my home tower so I'm glad you like them, ho ho ho & a 21cwt tenor! They go very well however they are having some minor work done this year to keep them going for the years to come.
They sound quiet as they are a long draught with a large clock-room in between the bells & the ringing chamber, unfortunately opening the door makes the treble shout down the spiral staircase but otherwise no complaints. My favourite set of bells in the UK by far. =]
This is on this weeks Bells on Sunday - have a listen, I loved them as soon as they pulled off!! Go well?
