@BetaArtemis but at SPN conventions, when you receive your wristband (and perhaps lanyard) it says you CANNOT ask slash questions to the actors or actresses because it makes them uncomfortable and slash is not in the show (directly, other than the episode in season 4 when you meet chuck/god). I totally agree too that slash fans can voice there say, they just can't ask their questions to the actors, which is why Jensen was in a pissy mood the rest of the day.
@all4uboom I know some people have issues that Misha doesn't seem to speak with a filter, but I guess I'm used to people speaking everything, and honestly, I've seen worse slash dominated moments coming out of Torchwood conventions with actor John Barrowman. If you think Misha has a slash issue, Barrowman's winning over him by miles, and a lot of people love him for it. But I understand all-slash-all-the-time isn't for everyone. That's cool

@catwomanFL72 Clearly you have never seen Torchwood, but you know what, slash is pretty much canon at Torchwood cons and even at Comic Con. Gay and lesbian pairings are very much accepted because it is part of the show. Families or not, those fans don't freak out over slash or act like it's some taboo subject. But then again, clearly people are more open-minded in Europe than in the US where gay pairings cause hysterias on network TV.

@BetaArtemis a lot of people are very frustrated with Misha because he keeps furling J2 negativity ie. slash webistes etc... he shows no respect for actual fans and just plays games most of the time. not to say he does it all of the time, no, he can be an amazing person. but when he answered the Shag-Marry-Kill question during his panel, he said some things that really fueled bad publicity...

When that guy asked the slash question, it made Jensen angry and he barely answered anymore questions after that (Jared answered most of the questions). And then Misha goes and antagonizes the situation. I LOVE MISHA ok? When he comments about slash, it prevents people who want to ask serious questions and have a serious panel with Misha. thats all. I love it when he jokes but not when it ruins the panel

@all4uboom I get that, and I'm not saying you shouldn't, some people do have that issue with Misha and I can understand, but all I am saying is that some people on here, not you, but some people on here will insult Misha and call him names like whore and pervert, and for me, that's crossing the lines. So he gets the whole slash thing going, but how does that mean other people can call him unsavory names just because he brings up slash. Voicing dislike is one thing, but namecalling is another.

Slash or not, they are still SPN fans and should be allow their chance to speak. I don't like the constant slash either, but they are fans too and should have their say, that's all I'm saying.

@BetaArtemis but at SPN conventions, when you receive your wristband (and perhaps lanyard) it says you CANNOT ask slash questions to the actors or actresses because it makes them uncomfortable and slash is not in the show (directly, other than the episode in season 4 when you meet chuck/god). I totally agree too that slash fans can voice there say, they just can't ask their questions to the actors, which is why Jensen was in a pissy mood the rest of the day.

@all4uboom I know some people have issues that Misha doesn't seem to speak with a filter, but I guess I'm used to people speaking everything, and honestly, I've seen worse slash dominated moments coming out of Torchwood conventions with actor John Barrowman. If you think Misha has a slash issue, Barrowman's winning over him by miles, and a lot of people love him for it. But I understand all-slash-all-the-time isn't for everyone. That's cool

@catwomanFL72 Clearly you have never seen Torchwood, but you know what, slash is pretty much canon at Torchwood cons and even at Comic Con. Gay and lesbian pairings are very much accepted because it is part of the show. Families or not, those fans don't freak out over slash or act like it's some taboo subject. But then again, clearly people are more open-minded in Europe than in the US where gay pairings cause hysterias on network TV.

I can understand your anger over how the slash questions made Jensen angry, and that's a valid reason to be angry. But I say it's more blaming those certain fans who can't keep their mouth shut rather than the actors. And to be honest, the show even mentions slash so it doesn't help.
