Because most 'fat' people are not included in many social states and have more time to reflect upon themselves spiritually and engage in deep thought without distractions. However this does not explain why they don't lose weight.

@websoull nope. magick is in my opinion, the manipulation of energy. so even if you think about it, christianity is also involved in magick. think about it. when you pray, its magick your trying to use your energy to connect to a higher being. when your wishing for something, your visualize it, therefore, putting magick into it. when priests make holy water, they call upon the energy of god, and put it in the water. so priests and the chirstain god even use magick.
Wicca is witchery, pure and simple, it is from satan. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that there is only good and evil, the grey areas are satan trying to deceive you from the truth. God does not condone magic or power that is not his, it is from the only other inspired source that he has allowed on earth, the prince of the air, that old evil, satan. People practising and carry on with Wicca are carry on with satan, period!
@GTCism also I would like to add that you should do your research before aqusing wiccans of evil we most certainly take no part in. For crying out loud even when casting a circle we cast out negative energy [evil acording to you] and only let in positive energy.

@seaka123 yes you could envision mirrors that reflect all negative energy. You could envision a net that filters out certain energy's and lets others of a helpful nature pass thru. In fact there are no limits to what type of protection energy you can project around yourself if you can conceive it.

Wow, I came to visualizing wind blowing and throwing through me on my own -- it's the element I'm most intune with, so it was very cool to hear him say that wind is a technique for cleansing! @KingFahtah yes, that would be advisable. we do have a destruction ritual used to harm people but i wouldnt reccomend it to anyone who isn't a satanist. you'd have to be in total control if you're going to use black magick.
@yinyanghero14 It is fairly common to feel dizzy. You could just be over energized. About four minutes in he talks about grounding after working. Try that and it should help.

I have a problem of constantly being effected by the feelings of others around me and various other energies. I'm just starting with the psychic shielding and I hope this works to help me with blocking out these energies because the effects it has on me causes me pain after so long.

It's interesting. I am really leaning towards practicing wicca, not because of magic, although i do love the thought, but because it is very VERY similar to something my friends and i started last summer. we would be around a pond discussing the future, knowing that we are an enourmous part of the future. we are here to help when the storm comes. we believe in fairies, dragons, and we believe in treating the earth correctly. we're young though and we've got a lot of growing to do. spiritually.

You would think someone claiming such intellectual and spiritual prowess would have more control over his eating habits and physical activity. Maybe try envisioning pushing away from the twinkies, sparky.
Why is the supreme god/ess a female in wicca? Is it symbolic of a mother as a creator or is it literally that you believe that the highest god/ess is female? As a male I find don't find it empowering. Infact I think it is empowering for females and some what subserient for female empowering. I don't believe the such beings are actually one gender or another.
id say they refer to the being as a godess due to the fact that women are essentially life givers and any thing that would be god in itself would be the giver of life or creator of the entire universe
That is not a satisfactory answer for me. It could be argued that the male is the life giver because he gives the seed and that the female gives birth to it. Anyway I do like Wicca but many readings are feminist with the male some what irrelevant. The idea that he is merely her consort I find degrading. Well I guess this is a goddess worship religion, but i find it unacceptable.
OR you could just realize that men and women are both spiritually equal .. much of Wicca emphasizes the female creative aspect because in the past it has been completely neglected. They're trying to bring it back into the limelight. Instead of finding it "unacceptable" why don't you research some more male-oriented Deities and incorporate them into your practices? Or maybe even incorporate both simultaneously? What a concept!

You have not actually acknowledged my point. I do realise that men and women are spiritually equal, that it my very point(You may notice I acknowledged this in my first comment). This is the reason I find it unacceptable. If both are equal then the worship and beliefs and so on should also be, but they are not. I may take your advice and try to find male deities that i identify with and may be empowered and inspired by. But I still think wicca is just to female orientated for me.
@spyware1100 Pagans believe that everything needs to be balanced. That includes the Gods/Goddesses. Many Wiccans just worship the Goddess because most Wiccans are female.
But Pagans worship both male and female aspects of everything. The God (male) is celebrated in the Sun holidays and the Goddess (female) is celebrated in the Moon holidays. Then they are both equally worshiped in fertility holidays. You can worship & favor the Gods but don't forget the Goddess. :D
@Isillabell The god and goddes are not 2 separate beings, it simply is how wiccans represent the duality that rules our current reality: Passive (Negative), wich is assosiated with emotions, magic and females, and active (positive) Wich is rational thinking, actions, the sun, and male.

yes random strangers do insult my beliefs all the time. To me it is a sin to use God's name in vain. But you can't go for for than 10 mins in a random convo without hearing that person disrespect the same God who you love, in such a careless way. Actually, Amen Ra should be Amun/Amon Ra, an amalgamation of the gods Amon and Ra. They are gods' names, not a prayer ending. Amen, as used in prayer and song, is ultimately a Hebrew word, brought to english via greek. There is little to no evidence to support the Egyptian word being related to the Hebrew/Greek/English word.
I tried some of those meditations and for a week, I've been feeling this vibration between my eye brows. My eyes started to unconsciously look up and twitch. What is that supposed to be or mean?
i have read the book: The mists of Avalon and there was a thing about what looked like wicca and i got interested so what is wicca about, i know it's not about witchcraft cuz that's practice.
Actually if you watch the whole series you will find that we speak of Deity as both God and Goddess, and sometimes as God/dess in reference to both aspects
I think a "christian magician" is trying to attack my energies. Whenever she gets pissed at me I get really dizzy and she is almost giving me something I would consider the evil eye. How can I combat this? Shes super mean. LOTS of mean energies come from her.
It can be really tough when one is so sensitive. I would recomend a protection spell or perhaps an old world "evil eye" charm, the blue eyes... that look kinda creepy, but I hear they work wonders... it just sounds like you're on the recieving end of it.. so protect yourself and dont' be a victim. ;P Good luck.

I did some energy work with my cousin the other night. We're complete amateurs, but we both truly felt the energy flowing through the palms of our hands, and our third eye. Once we were done, my cousin couldn't move her legs at all. She said they had completely cramped up and she was in extreme pain. We had only been working for about an hour. Could someone please tell me why energy working might have affected her legs in particular?
Hiya:its difficult without having in depth info but maybe these hints will help in some way:
The legs represent our direction in life:The left=spiritual and the right=material direction
Cramping is related to deep guilt.Perhaps she feels 'fraudulent' commiting herself to her spiritual path due to guilt about something in her physical/material life she's done (or not done) and feels unable to take committed action either way (hence the temporary paralysis of the legs)? :o)
Dude, we stretched our legs every 5 minutes to AVOID cramping. That's why I commented on this video for help, because it's really unusual for someone to get cramped up somewhere if they can stretch and allow normal blood flow every 5 minutes.

As to some of you, I'm pretty sure your god would be pretty pissed off at you for speaking for him, her, or whatever your god is. If your god is so powerful, how are all the things you assume he hates still here?

It's interesting. I am really leaning towards practicing wicca, not because of magic, although i do love the thought, but because it is very VERY similar to something my friends and i started last summer. we would be around a pond discussing the future, knowing that we are an enourmous part of the future. we are here to help when the storm comes. we believe in fairies, dragons, and we believe in treating the earth correctly. we're young though and we've got a lot of growing to do. spiritually.

Why is the supreme god/ess a female in wicca? Is it symbolic of a mother as a creator or is it literally that you believe that the highest god/ess is female? As a male I find don't find it empowering. Infact I think it is empowering for females and some what subserient for female empowering. I don't believe the such beings are actually one gender or another.

That is not a satisfactory answer for me. It could be argued that the male is the life giver because he gives the seed and that the female gives birth to it. Anyway I do like Wicca but many readings are feminist with the male some what irrelevant. The idea that he is merely her consort I find degrading. Well I guess this is a goddess worship religion, but i find it unacceptable.

OR you could just realize that men and women are both spiritually equal .. much of Wicca emphasizes the female creative aspect because in the past it has been completely neglected. They're trying to bring it back into the limelight. Instead of finding it "unacceptable" why don't you research some more male-oriented Deities and incorporate them into your practices? Or maybe even incorporate both simultaneously? What a concept!

You have not actually acknowledged my point. I do realise that men and women are spiritually equal, that it my very point(You may notice I acknowledged this in my first comment). This is the reason I find it unacceptable. If both are equal then the worship and beliefs and so on should also be, but they are not. I may take your advice and try to find male deities that i identify with and may be empowered and inspired by. But I still think wicca is just to female orientated for me.

@spyware1100 Pagans believe that everything needs to be balanced. That includes the Gods/Goddesses. Many Wiccans just worship the Goddess because most Wiccans are female.
But Pagans worship both male and female aspects of everything. The God (male) is celebrated in the Sun holidays and the Goddess (female) is celebrated in the Moon holidays. Then they are both equally worshiped in fertility holidays. You can worship & favor the Gods but don't forget the Goddess. :D

Actually, Amen Ra should be Amun/Amon Ra, an amalgamation of the gods Amon and Ra. They are gods' names, not a prayer ending. Amen, as used in prayer and song, is ultimately a Hebrew word, brought to english via greek. There is little to no evidence to support the Egyptian word being related to the Hebrew/Greek/English word.

I think a "christian magician" is trying to attack my energies. Whenever she gets pissed at me I get really dizzy and she is almost giving me something I would consider the evil eye. How can I combat this? Shes super mean. LOTS of mean energies come from her.

It can be really tough when one is so sensitive. I would recomend a protection spell or perhaps an old world "evil eye" charm, the blue eyes... that look kinda creepy, but I hear they work wonders... it just sounds like you're on the recieving end of it.. so protect yourself and dont' be a victim. ;P Good luck.

I did some energy work with my cousin the other night. We're complete amateurs, but we both truly felt the energy flowing through the palms of our hands, and our third eye. Once we were done, my cousin couldn't move her legs at all. She said they had completely cramped up and she was in extreme pain. We had only been working for about an hour. Could someone please tell me why energy working might have affected her legs in particular?

Hiya:its difficult without having in depth info but maybe these hints will help in some way:
The legs represent our direction in life:The left=spiritual and the right=material direction
Cramping is related to deep guilt.Perhaps she feels 'fraudulent' commiting herself to her spiritual path due to guilt about something in her physical/material life she's done (or not done) and feels unable to take committed action either way (hence the temporary paralysis of the legs)? :o)

Dude, we stretched our legs every 5 minutes to AVOID cramping. That's why I commented on this video for help, because it's really unusual for someone to get cramped up somewhere if they can stretch and allow normal blood flow every 5 minutes.
