  • makes me so anxious that no one in the world has heard this! MADFERIT

  • shocks me how good this is

  • i would rather listen to this then any current song on the radio...or of the past 5 years on the radio.

  • This, Round Are Way or One Way Road should have made Definitely Maybe instead of Digsy's Dinner. Top fucking tune this man would have made DM 100% perfect.

  • fucking awesome song. some of us even here in America know how much this rules.

  • What a bloody good Supersonic B-side...

  • @savethebrits91 This was a B side to Live Forever

  • New Generations, you can still be saved from the X Factors, Wimpy Idols & Bieber Fever. Demand REAL Music in your lives

  • so much better than the later stuff nice track

  • ha, Sony is sitting on a gold mine. Better put out some more b-side albums before the rights go back to the brothers.

  • Whoever owns the rights to Oasis music NEED to release another B-Side compilation.

  • wow never heard this one before; the outro riff is sick!

  • my favorite oasis b-side, i know that's a big statement but i have always loved it

  • @oasisoasis21 could not agree more mate! hidden gems all of them <3

  • This, See the Sun, headshrinker, I will Show You, Colour My Life, Alive, Lets All make Believe, thats the oasis few people know

  • OASIS WOOOO

  • /watch?v=KEcmKG1q9Ok&feature=related

  • i cant believe this song hasnt had more recognition, its one of the best song they did, lively drumming, great john squire influenced guitar & catchy as fuck.

  • No question the greatest band ever!

  • I've got a different version to this one. There is no echo in the voice or anything. Both great though

  • greatest band ever.

  • Cum On , Tony was not that bad !

He was not the best , but he was pretty good , nobody found out he had qualities !

    ( I must admit that , even if I love Alan , somewhere I miss Tony's style )

Good song , they are gonna live forever , promised , I'll make sure .

  • I've finally heard the Stone Roses song Noel borrowed from for this and this is a way better song, much though I respect the Stone Roses.

  • Noel stole the melody to 'Standing Here' by the stone roses for this one, but it sounds mega none the less ;)

  • oasis

  • the cover of Live Forever. is that lennons house?

  • @RubyTuesdaydundee

    yes it is

  • Fucking tune. The greatest band ever. Sadly missed but never forgotten.

  • hav'nt heard this song for years, love it...."NOW I CAN FEEEEEL THE RAIN"

  • Nowhere near the greatest B-Side: (Excluding The Masterplan album)

    Idler's Dream

    Let's All Make Believe

    D'yer Wanna Be A Spaceman

    The Fame

    Round Are Way

    Step Out......

There's so many. This has a proper Roses feel to it. Similar to Standing Here in some parts. Fucking tune man!

  • Not possibly your favourite b-side deffianetly maybe your favourite b-side

  • Such a fcukin tune, why wasn't it on The Masterplan?!

  • @maxihadda it was on the jap verison of def maybe

  • is there a b-side collection or something being released, 'cause theres so many of these i didnt even know existed. please someone help me out here

  • @OBH2011 there is one, it's called The masterplan, there are some of them... my suggestion, try to get their singles... especially for the first records, until sotsog included, the bsides are EPIC.

  • @OBH2011

Whatever you want/need to know, just send me a PM. I am an Oasis resource for the ages. Sorry, don't mean to brag, I'm just a MASSSIVE, MASSIVE Oasis fan.

  • John Lennons house in the photo is it not?

  • @quinn3477 Yes it is.

  • its got a good stone roses beat to it

  • Cheack Out My channel for great music like blur and oasis 2 songs uploadid each day subscribe 2 support this project

  • Nothing to say but, fucking tune bruv!

  • By far the greatest B-side by ANY artist!

  • great song...al their early early songs are great.

  • does anyone know the vocal effect that liam uses on this song to give it that psycadelic edge? cheers.

  • @veyronNYC I think its just a sinple delay loop, which can be done through any mixing desk or even PA system

  • fucking fucking fucking fucking amazing!!!!

  • This is the kind of song that makes you want to go whoohoo.

    WHOOHOO!!!

  • sounds too madchester to be on def maybe, it over 5 mins long so maybe they should have kept it for be here now, or is it too short? ;-)

  • this probably should of been on the definitely maybe album, its that good!

  • Noel probably did the drumming on Def Maybe, McCarroll was not very good. Alan White is really good.

This song does sound a lot like Standing Here by the Stone Roses. Nothing wrong with cribbing from your idols!

  • @lazyitus

McCarroll doesn't get the credit he deserves, and definitely did drum on Definitely Maybe. He gets constant slagging off from Noel, but I think it was personal tbh. Read his book, it's well good!

  • @bigmuffexpress

He was an alright drummer, but then again he sort of pissed off the band... :P I definitely like his work on stuff like Live Forever and Supersonic. Simple but beautiful, y'know?

He was certainly better than Alan White in my opinion, who although had tricky, inventive fills, most of his songs were bass bass snare, cymbal, snare, cymbal snare, bass snare, with some drags :P wonderwall beat every song...

    How about Zak Starkey?

  • dang this song shouldve been on the masterplan -_-

  • Alan white is technically a better drummer, however Tony's rawness complimented the raw oasis sound.......which is why 15 years later I still listen to Def Maybe and other B-sides of that time, but don't bother with the later stuff.........the songs with Tony McCarroll on are the Oasis i fell in love with.......need i say more?

  • @dannythegent1 I couldn't agree more. In a way it draws parallels with Guns n' Roses, in that their original drummer (Steven Adler) from their first two albums, had a far more basic style than his replacement (Matt Sorum), yet Adler's less technical style just seemed to suit their raw rock sound a whole lot more. In my opinion, two bands who started off great, but lost it after the money came rolling in.

  • @dannythegent1 The entire band admitted he was the best musician in the group when they started out, however everyone practiced except McCarroll. Liam actually told him he needed to practice and that looking at sheet music wouldn't stand up to just playing on your set, guigsy admitted he thought he had always been the one holding them back but after a while realized it was McCarroll, they wanted him out before they signed up with Russell but kept him to avoid 3 months of finding a replacement

  • we should kill 2 ppl

  • sounds like mix of supersonic, colour my life and morning glory but with its own style

  • If anybody says McCarroll cannot drum they can fuck reet off.

  • @mmmmtobby He was a shit drummer, Noel was right to sack him, watch the definitely maybe dvd and u'll hear how shit he was. Alan White was a far superior drummer!!

  • fuck me man, this song is right up my street.

  • The best bands have the best B-sides.

Oasis. The Stone Roses ♥. The Jam, The Cure, and also Blur. Yep. BLUUUR. :)

  • fuck sake. here, oasis are lethal!

  • r ya mad fer it?!?

  • @hiitsmehi fucking right im mad for it son.

i cant wait till they bring another greatest b-sides album like the masterplan

  • They should make The Masterplan Part 2 and Part 3.

  • @What1sY0urPassw0rd Defo m8-excellent suggestion for Masterplan pt2/3!! Far too many excellent B-Sides i've found here which i totally forgot about-shame on me- lmao- Cheers.

  • Great wee tune... Reminds me of Standing Here by the Roses!

  • @glentoranfan247 Pretty sure Noel "borrowed" the verses off Standing Here ha ha. Class tune nevertheless.

  • The solo guitar that begins at 3:34 is epic...typical of Noels guitar riffs, makes the simplest thing sound so good!!

  • what album is this track on?

  • @kurt9876543210

It is the B side of live forever which was on defo maybe - awesome

  • Fuckin good! Suck this, Justin Bieber

  • yeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Great drum track. Well done Tony McCarroll. Who says he can't play!

  • choooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooon ppl

  • Ace song,so full of energy and it represents the spirit of the 90s.They should realise it a a single instead of shakermaker I think...

  • tht or slide away...

  • wow!

  • Awesome! At least we still have the memories. Reminds me of travelling from Belfast on a coach to the gig in Manchester @ Maine Road. Heady days!

  • @mrennisisfly are you from belfast?

  • @kurt9876543210

    Yep I sure am

  • @mrennisisfly sweet, my grandfather is from there too

  • I was 13! Remember that!

  • I was 13!.... Remember that!

  • B-side to Live Forever?

  • want this song in my ipod and in my car ¬¬ THUMB UP!

  • Amazing guitar track.. I love this song

  • I'd forgotten about this one...how that happen?!!!

  • This song is the ultimate proof that Oasis was far better than many bands of the nineties when it came to record B Sides. Many of them were top songs!

  • Standing Here...

  • I LOVE OASIS BIGGEST FAN EVER!! J'ADORE ALL OASIS!! :D

  • My opinion, but Oasis' early B-sides were all good enough to be on chart topping albums.

  • 69,000 of these views are mine!

  • it's only rock and roll, but i like it like it yes i do!

  • top tune

  • cum on u mod rockers

  • @raco199 MODS!

  • Cud have been another a-side

  • the (john squire style) guitar then drums at 3mins 38secs are brilliant, my fav b side at the mo

  • one of the best oasis B-sides including the masterplan

  • definately rip of of standing here by stone roses, still mint!

  • @wattsdt01 I've always thought that, both great though.

  • This must be before Noel joined the band ?

  • @hillkrh No, this is Live Forever's B-side

  • There B-Sides are worthy on a place of the albums :D

  • I think this should've made definitely maybe instead of Columbia

Or Shakermaker, actually, which I think is there worst SONG, let alone single

  • @beano090593 how dare u how very dare u lol columbia is a belting tune and shakermaker is 2 if u were going 2 drop 1 off dm 4 this one wud have 2 be digsys dinner

  • Absolute 100% pure classic Oasis. Would have made the DM album but for 2 executive decisions,

    1) too similar to at least 2 tracks chosen for the album.

    2) a bit too 'baggy'. The execs wanted this band to move on from the 'Madchester' sound.

And i'm not grumbling, good decisions really, end of the day Oasis would just be any old band if they put all their best work on their albums, especially the early albums. It was their amazing B-sides that set them apart from the rest.

  • smart arse lol only joking mate i have every oasis album including masterplan but have never heard this song as i never bought singles but if u cud tell me every oasis single and bsides that have been released i will buy them . bet u cant name em all lol

  • Just google "oasis B-sides" lol .. thattl save us all a lot of time ;-)

  • @WhiteRoseRiotBoy Also its much to similair to stone roses standing here. They were mates so I doubt they'd sue them but the similarities are pretty obvious

  • this song is about me and my firm buttocks

  • sounds like standing here by the stone roses, brilliant :)!

  • Definetely Maybe.

  • what was this song a B-side to?

  • Live Forever

  • this feels like a lot of oasis tracks all in one.

    i like.

  • where can i download this song, i can't find it anywhere!!!

  • En taringa lo tienes, sino lo encuentras dímelo y te lo diré más detalladamente...

    Salu2!!

  • A Fuckin b-side man! i'd kill to be able to write songs like this, and noel just pushes it to the side!

    Fuckin genius

    live 4eva oasis

  • This is my favorite b-side aswell.........i really like their b-sides.

  • used to love this tune in the car in the summer, windows down, memories....esp the lead at the end

  • i really like the drums on this - very loose, almost funky, a lot like the Happy Mondays.

  • such a fuckin tune... pep dont know thes tunes.. ther better then most of their mainstream stuff... a masterplan 2 could be a serious posibility for oasis.. or else liam could do covers wit his new band... anyway gallagher brothers=legends... live forever

  • i dont really understand all this b side thing can someone tell me

  • @brendanf62 : B side means on a single release, A side was/is typically the group's 'HIT' song. The B side (flip side of the record/disc) is usually just a tune to fill the space. That way they sell more. However, in the case of Oasis, to their fans anyway.........Every song is 'A-side' quality!!

  • thnks

  • It goes back to the cassette days, The A side would be the side with there hit song. B side with a "filler" for the rest of the cassette/and/or record.

Noels quote on Masterplan "We don't make shit songs"

  • @brendanf62

    u jokin now??

  • Comment removed

  • Their B Sides are better than most bands A Sides haha

  • @leavingthiscity Very true pal!

  • im gettin colder i feel a chill in the air

  • I would be safe foreverrrr in your arms

  • This Is almost too good to not have made an album... Hell it coulda been a single and i woulda bought it

  • isn't this on masterplan

  • Nope, probably should have been though !

  • that sucks, i agree, this is a hella good song

  • Yeah it def. deserves to be on the masterplan.... its so good... then again most of the songs noel writes are incredable in my opinion so its difficult to pick the best b sides haha

  • stones roses standing here total blatant rip off

  • @lmacc1978 really.. that's quite interesting ;D..

Oasis version is somehow much heavier And not very usual noel playing that kind of bluesy licks with his guitar. Good one

  • nah if anything standing here is a total blatant rip off rip off of come together.

  • @lmacc1978

Spot on, haven't heard this in over a decade and thought that immediately, quite funny really, Noel has been cheeky with his borrowing over the years.

  • this should of made it on definitely maybe along with listen up and fade away, all their early stuff was fuckin amaziing!

  • Fkn amazing tune!!

  • @Portis1Luv hahaha aw, poor kitty.

  • oasis r the best band ever, anyone who likes alphabeat or any other of that 80's shit can piss off!

  • That early...raw...Oasis sound. Glad i still have this on single.

  • This song is better than Up in the Sky & Digsy's Dinner.

  • nothing beats digsy's dinner

  • This is (in my opinion) better than up in the sky for sure, but youre right digsy's dinner is funny and awesome

  • This is an awesome song. I actually portray Noel Gallagher in a Houston-based Oasis tribute band. Cloudburst is in the next group of songs we'll be working on.

  • @JapaneseMonk, GOOD 4 U MATE!!!

BUT YOULL NEVER BE THE REAL NOEL!

    LIVE 4EVA OASIS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If you can't tell, I like this song.

  • ahmen oasis fuckin rule thanks for the music

  • The verse sound like Standing Here by The Stone Roses.

  • I also noticed that!

  • The reason I bought all Oasis' singles was for the B-sides. There were GEMS such as Alive, I Will Believe, Cloudburst, Acquiesce, Headshrinker, Talk Tonight, It's Good To Be Free, Listen Up and Fade Away.

Vote me down if you want but I no longer listen to Oasis. Why give these songs to n00bs?

  • listen up, headshrinker, how did either of those not make definitely maybe.

acquiese should have went on morning glory take out swamp song.

flashbax should have went on be here now

lets all make believe should have went on standing on the shoulders

how the fuck did master plan not end up on morning glory.

would have made the album ten times more epic

  • I believe oasis WILL get back together sooner or later....... oasis are the reason i learned to play guitar and without them i wouldnt be into half the bands im into today !

  • same, i learned to play guitar because of noel. if there was no oasis i would never have discovered the stone roses, the verve, beatles etc.

  • i would have never discover the roses either..as well as the inspiral carpets

  • Totally agree with hollowtin :)

Oasis wipe the floor with most, if not all bands :L

    R.I.P Oasis :(

  • oasis b-sides were one of the main the reason you bought a single!!! because you were getting an E.P for 2 notes at the time!!!! some of the b-sides that got left off of masterplan would still be a better album than some of the shite thats getting churned out today!!! in my eyes the band changed my life, for the good!!! thank fuck for oasis!!!!

  • I wish I could give you more than one thumb up.

  • Their best track i reckon

  • I am so glad I found songs like this and step out, full on, round are way. It is like another side of oasis I now love
