I don’t want to be part of a German alliance, for that, I would have joined Hitler, I have Greeks in EU, or I do not want to be part of it.

Yes, I am Greek and I too vote for mutual disarmament. But then the armament will be in black market, and Turkey has the backing of the Germans and always will because of the access to the oil way. So this will be better for us, how? So that nobody knows how much is spent in black market armament? I wish it could, I wish he's right...

But Mr Cohn-Bendit is giving other messages here:
a) EU MUST be more proactive and responsive in financial crisis ! The Greek "problem" just spilled over all over Europe, and it is not Greece's fault ! It is just the indecisiveness of other European governments (mainly Germany).
b) EU MUST have a more people-centric rather than money-centric approach to financial crisis : cannot allow such deep pay-cuts that will wipe out vast numbers of employees.
