I remember the Ford Mondeo advert which I think was the top car of that year and it was featured in the 'Focus On Ford' one that featured a man and a woman discussing about this model.
That first ad (the Mondeo's launch ad, I think) is epochal on all kinds of levels: suffice it to say that Tony Blair *must* have noticed it when he was briefing with the intent to undermine John Smith (and was introduced to the Bilderberg group while Smith was still alive, incidentally).
Which only makes Fry and Laurie's appearance all the more piquant. Patrick Allen voices for Bold, obviously.
