I just got my NE3 a few weeks ago, and this is a piece of the heavens with red paint on it. Compared with the NE2 especially, the acoustic pianos are a HUGE step up (especially with the online library used with the Stage as well). My only small issue are with the waterfall keys, as I'm just getting used to them. For the b3 and rhodes, they feel great, but it does take getting used to the waterfall keys for acoustic pianos. Velocity sensitivity as well could be better. All in all, a must have!!!!

How do you feel about the pianos that came installed with the keyboard? I know theyre interchangeable with Nord's online library. As a Nord Electro 2 owner, I can tell you I don't have those download capabilities, and the pianos available really suck!
@tvseal0001 I don't have a great experience so I cant say for sure but I like a lot the sounds that came preinstalled. We have an option to upgrade it with some bigger in size pianos that have more detail. However you should better ask a person with greater experience in pianos.
This is really really beautiful song. I'm thinking about getting the electro 3 soon. What do you think of the mellotron sounds? (I don't really need them, but I was wondering if they were any good)
Hey! thanks a lot! I didnt need the mellotron sounds either but I loved some of them and I use them often! Its a really smart choice to buy an electro 3. I mostly wanted the electric pianos and the grand pianos but I found out that I love everything about it. I got used to everything already and I enjoy it more than i had ever imagined.
Hmm... I really want one, but I won't have the funds for another month I believe... do you have the 61 or 73 key? Oh and what piano setting is this song played on? (it sounds good)
I have the 73 key version and this piano sound is called Studio Grand 1 - Yamaha C7 I think. I would advice you to try playing one first because there are some people not familiar with its waterfall keys - others that simply love them. I really loved those keys without having experience in them before but I have heard some people that dont like them for piano use- I really cant see why though
