@FireFlamesrocks It's made mostly of things I had lying around - paper, wire, etc. These would be available at your local craft / art supply store. It was many hours of experimentation, so I would say the amount of required time depends on how much experience you have with buildings things like this. There are no instructions. My nephew and I came up with the idea and I figured it out as I went along. If that process of trial and error appeals to you, I say go for it. Good luck!

The frame of the car is made of wire, the body and the seat are made of paper. The easiest way to make a seat might be to make a paper box, then add the seat back to it.

One of my nephews noticed that a spool of string that was attached to another helium balloon toy I'd made rolled long the ground as the balloons went up. That got me thinking about building a car around the spool.

How did you attach the wheels to the CD's? Please, I would really appreciated if you would reply before the next 12 hours.. :D

I used dowels to make plugs for the holes of the CDs. I used a bead of hot glue on both sides of the CD to hold it to the plug. I drilled a hole in the center of the plug to attach the axel. Good luck!
