It's a shame about TDM, but it's your choice, I really enjoyed what you did though, but like you said, it's probably best what you did. It's best to quit it while your ahead rather than continue it and have it not turn out so great. I understand how it feels when a project hits the rocks like that. Can I just say that I'm really sorry for all those times I drew or made videos of stuff that potentially copied your work . . . >_< I was such a noob . . .
