@MrLizbudu - She was using a Demarini Vendetta 30/18 in 10U. A good composite bat makes all the difference. She's now using a Demarinia CF4 30/20 in 12U and will move to a 31/21 in a year. The -12 ratio was good for 10U but for 12U I'd recommend a -10. A good length depends on the size of the girl, so probably anything between a 29 and 31 length. I hope that helps!
@MrLizbudu Some of the best composite bats retail at $299. Of course, you can get them for less, even brand new. But the retail value shows how high end the bat is. The Vendetta, for instance, was a retail of $199. Good brands include Demarini, Easton, Mizuno, Combat, Anderson, etc.
