The legend CV Camilla is based off of is Elizabeth Barthory, the woman who bathed in the blood of maidens and thought to be a vampire. Dunno where the lesbian part came from.

I think, maybe, she's meant to be a fusion of Barthory and the legendary Countess Carmilla from the famous novella... which would explain her, um... "alluring" appearance and lesbian tendencies quite nicely, lawl. That's just my guess, anyway.
