  • I worked for WM in pittsburgh. We had a few of them. They do sound nice, but I'll keep my mack.

  • Very Nice! This is how my new WM Collection is! Except theydont really use the tippers that much and the trash cans are the carrollton ones not wm!

  • carts wont b new for long lol

  • Clarkston Michigan?

  • Why are they 2 SIDEING? thats prohibited at WM?

  • those rehrigs new

  • These WM guys work fast in GA! I wish I could say the same in my town, but WM there has only 1 helper!

You're Welcome for Vid Response! But that area that I filmed was in Pametto, FL which is a town over Bradenton which is an hour away from me & WM in my area don't use carts!

I should change the Subtitles from that post but I'm afraid I'll have to reedit vids, so I'm not going to! But Nice Post & 5*!

  • Was that the brake sound before the speedup of the packer is performed?

  • do they recycle cardboard there??

  • Nice vid. I will fav and 5*.

  • nice to see the rehrigs with the WM logo on them. Seems like all 95 rehrigs are that style now. i hate the way the cascades look especially now that wm seems to order them with smaller wheels.

  • Wow cool find, FAVORITE! Same tippers as on the FG Mcneilus, too.

  • ARE ALL THOSE BINS NEW?

  • yep

  • lol, i have never seen 2 guys working on the back of rl's before

  • thats how we do it at the County as well, three man crews

  • Awesome!! Well how lucky were you to be passing by, right place at the right time :D Nice catch!

  • it was, LOL

  • NICE WORK T' im really starting to like RL's. 5 stars

  • thnx C'

  • sounds like this has the cummins instead of mercedes engine...i'm all bout the benz sound though

never knew you could run the packer when the truck was moving??

guess they don't have that stupid rule here about only servicing right side of road?

  • well, that rule does apply here, but on main streets, yeah, this one did have that Cummins sound, way different from Jermaine's rolloff

  • Very nice truck! I should be getting some footage of an ancient WM Maxon MSL at the end of this month!

  • cool, enjoy watching the old beasts still go out there and get it!

  • Teamster Solid Waste Division Manager Bob Morales is a liar

  • Very nice job. WM of Ormond Beach has 2 or 3 of these Freightliner/McNeilus rl trucks, I like them. The Freightliners have a nice sound too.

  • yep, I really like the sound of the Mercedes engine, it has a mean growl to it

  • LOL YOUR WELCOME

  • are you doing of these WM rear loader vids cuz these trucks are "THE BOMB"

  • Beautiful catch, Nice shiny new truck at that. Sucks to hear that a municipality has chosen to contract out the waste services.

  • well, they only ran 1 RL for refuse and 1 for green waste, so it probably made more sense financially to do this, but I will miss seeing The City's trucks

  • you on the roll today thunder. just like the first gear truck. awsome

  • thnx, it purely a blessing to find both of these beasts today, and yeah, LOL it is just like the First Gear truck

  • I thought you lived around the chicago area Thunder??I am lost you visited georgia??Anyway i like the video.

  • No, I live in Atlanta, LOL and thnx for the comments.

  • its the first gear model on steriods ! haha nice catch

  • LMAO!!!! I like that!

  • nice!

  • Nice truck, nice lifters, nice job! It is surprising to me that WM purchased Rehrig Pacific carts instead of the ususal Cascade though

  • thnx for the kind words. Rehrig actually has a plant here in GA, which could be the reason for the purchase, if I'm correct, the closest Cascade MFG is in SC or NC.

  • waste management has been using rehrig and huskey carts for a while now

the cascades down here are all broken and messed up, they have tried cascade, rehrig, roto, plastopan, zarn, and are currently distributing toter. however when there stock of toter runs out they said they may try SSI Shaefer carts. so theres a huge variety

  • Wow that seems so weird to me. Here in Wisconsin and Minnesota, and Illinois, all WM uses are Cascade Carts. Schaefer carts are the most durable overall though. We use mainly Rehrig and Toter EVRII, and we have some Schaefer's and Otto's.

  • yea schaefers only down fall is the snap on wheels.

if used for automation they get broken or pried right off. my recycling cart has no wheels right now because of it

but if there used for sl or rl there fine

  • are you talking about wheels with the push-nut on the end or snap-lock wheels?

  • the snap lock suck

my service isnt getting them with the optional push nut otherwise theyd be great carts

  • I guess it depends too, on what is readily available in their immediate area as well

  • That makes sense. Does WM have all Rehrigs down there?

  • did any of them kno who u were

  • no, LOL, bt they will know HAHAHAHAHA!

  • do u know what truck picks up recycling

  • no, this was actually WM's very first day doing residential collection here. I'm pretty sure a recycler body services those, by the looks of it on the same day, because everyone had them out in addition to the refuse carts.

  • too bad u didnt see the truck

  • can u try 2 get recycle?

  • This was very rare, and out of my district, but you never know
