hey buddy if you ever want to join to any kind of party in méxico you dont need invitattion at all, you just ask to someone related whit the party and, thats it, you are in. and about this wedding´s music, well to the mexican people likes mix mariachi whit chorus a live in the church too, and the music out side of the church we called tambora (for drums), or banda (for all the group of musicians and instrumentals) thx for share this
Mexicans do like those types of music you mentioned but those are for the reception. Just so you know most the music being played there at the church is religious. We do not play banda, mariachi etc in the church. We keep our ceremonies at church in a respectful and conservative manner. Thanks
Thanks for mentioning that. My dad is Mexican and my mom is Spanish. And yes I think many people think that our weddings are all mariachi. Very untrue. Mariachi is used only in the receptions NOT IN CHURCH.
Perhaps you have not seen it in the Mexican weddings you have been to but mariachi religious music is most definitely played in some churches. Note, it's not all mariachi music, just the religious kind. Mariachi in the church is not only allowed but is very common in Central Mexico, like the state of Jalisco. Mariachi religious music IS respectful and conservative. There is absolutely nothing disrespectful or cheap about it. It is part of Mexican folkore and traditions.
Okay that is Central Mexico. I have yet to go to a wedding in Mexico and here in the US where it is all mariachi. Secondly, I didn't say anything about it being disrespectful or it being cheap. I suggest you reread my comment.
annathefootdoc - I commented in response to the series of comments, not just yours. I added my two cents to broaden the picture of what a Mexican wedding might look like. I don't need to reread your comment, and their is no need to be on the defensive. Peace.
@dieann6253 Sorry to tell you this, but just so you know; all the music that was played at the church during the video, it is not "religious". Thank you...
