@rkoman89 He never puts anyone over. He isn't nearly as big of a draw as the WWE seems to think. The SD! ratings came down immediately when they tried him as the #1 guy. He didn't get over by turning on the biggest stable since the nWo, or by having a 9-month long feud with none other than the Undertaker. He got over, because WWE force-fed him to the fans and now the guy's got 9 world titles, because WWE believes he is equal to guys like Cena, HHH, Jericho and Edge.

@PierreJeanPierre Or maybe just maybe Vince McMahon is the one to blame over Randy beating Christian just five days after winning the World Title because I believe that Vince still has a beef with Christian from when Christian up and left the WWE for TNA back in 2005. Just look at Gail Kim, in her debut match she won the Women's Title and had a good descent first run in the WWE until she left and went to TNA where she a very good TNA run. Then Gail went back to WWE but got just about buried.

@ArchivistSN15 Actually, the exact opposite happened with Kofi. The WWE decided to push him and had him feud with Orton. When Kofi missed a spot, Orton lost his shit in the middle of the match. That was the end of Kofi's push.

He can't carry anyone, even if he can have a good match once in a while, he needs a better wrestler to work with. Btw, Cena wrestled a Dave Metlzer 5-star match with Punk this summer, first in WWE since 1997. Pops are the problem. Fans still like Orton, but can't deliver. Matter of time, my friend.

@anttiantti92 every match orton had with christian , cm punk wrestlemania , cody , dolph all of them were 4/5 stars , and he carried henry , wade and cody to where they are now , and no the ratings didnt change at all , and the only reason cena got a 5star match because he was facing cm punk .

@RyanGXD So...getting carried into a good match by a great wrestler such as Punk or Dolph is fine as long as you're Orton, but when Cena gets carried into one, he still can't wrestle? From May 6th to September 9th (Orton's 2 reigns at summer) SD hit 1.7 rating 9/20 shows. 1.6 x1, 1.8 x6, 1.9 x2, 2.0 x1 and 2.1 x1. Both > 2 ratings were Supershow's, another of those was even build around HHH. Suprisingly before and after the Orton time, the ratings were around 2.2 - 2.5 on weekly basis.

@anttiantti92 cena only puts on good matches when the spotlights on him i.e MITB , and smackdown gets less ratings because people know whos won so no one watches it , and the ratings were like that because edge just retired and orton was only starting to get into his own as the face of smackdown , and carried into a match , jr , arn anderson , stone cold , bret hart all said orton is one of the best wrestlers and technician they ever saw , triple h and flair said orton has it all as a wrestler

Would you care the send me a link in which Bret, AA or Austin for example says Orton is one of the best techical wrestlers ever? Because I for one remember Austin tweeting about Orton's need for work just a month or so ago. Just check his twitter page. He's not all bad, but he's not the "face of the show" material. Not enough charisma and personality for that. Works as a back-up for bigger names.
