  • I don't know the ppl from BuyRoatan but I hope they realize that the more people go to Roatan-the islands in general-the more the environment is threatened and eventually it will be destroyed. Honduras doesn't really enforce the few environmental regulations there. It's really up to the integrity of the individual(s).Once the environment is gone and the coral reef is reduced, then tourists will go somewhere else.I hope the people of BuyRoatan realize this. Best solution: Keep tourists at minimum.

  • How did your family originally "own" all the land in the first place?

  • Hey my family originally owned most of that island. Thanks to tourism we are being killed off our land. Think about that while you enjoy your stay.

  • @12quillemall5321 Well then.. I guess your family is enjoying all the benefits of selling their land to foreigners spending huge money to own/operate property there… think about that one.

  • @tjlynch1 We're enjoying the benefits of wasting our money to get squatter and forgers off our property. That's the honor white man brings to natives.

  • Maybe the bacteria is a sign from nature that white people should not live close to the equator. It doesn't seem natural. More importantly, the more tourism that you encourage just messes up the natural environment for the native locals. Leave the island and let them live in peace and happiness. Tourism brings chaos to the island and the lives of the natives. Your poor child...that bacteria looks horrible.
