@binghana We have been patient for 9 years. What `England` has to do is clean out the RFU like an old drain (done). Get rid of 70% of the RFU Council (not done). Put in place a simple structure of people or one person that have/has a shed load of rugby experience at top level to find the right coaching team for the National team (not done), without the interference of stupid old farts, like Martin Thomas, who, thank God, has left (done). Then we might just have half a chance.

There are infact a little over 60 million English, In Germany the population is around 80 million. Now they play one major team sport, Football, so lets say there are around 40 million potential boys playing football. Compare that to England 60 Million divided between Rugby union, Rugby league, Football and cricket. Thats roughly 30 million Boys divided by 4,erm,I think thats around 7.5 million boys playing football, slighty less potential than our gothic counterparts from Bavaria.......

@nighterjay So then maybe youd like to explain to the World here why it is that whilst England have a Union playing population of c2.5 million, New Zealand by contrast have a playing population of c137,000 yet at both domestic and international level we have only beaten them on a handful of occasions here at home let alone in NZ?? Like I said earlier THEY have never won anything else in any other world sport..They pile everything into Rugby union and rugby league at the expense of other sports that mean nothing to them.England try to accomodate all spectrums of international sport and the talent and financial backing is so diluted by this process, that, it is remarkable that they have ever won anything, has many other nations can testify.
