I have this gun. I love it! Still have some more braking in to do but it's a great gun. I will definitely buy another kimber. Thinking a custom raptor for the next one. I will not get another crimson trace gun. I would much rather just have night sights. Laser is a little bit of an overkill if you ask me.

At what distance do you recommend adjusting your laser to? 50 feet?

@coachesviewproduct I would not go out any farther than 15-20 feet. If you adjust it to far out and plan on using it at that distance you are going to go to jail for murder... not self defense.

@hulkbuster1026 It cost $1300. Inherent accuracy is outstanding and personal accuracy is great for me. Accuracy of a firearm is always better than that of the shooter.

@bum813 It could be. I use it for CCW on occasion (Mostly in the winter) when I have a jacket to make it conceal easier. I am a small framed person so it is hard to conceal larger firearms but it is certainly doable with the right holster.

@bum813 yes very concealable that's why they call it the Kimber Pro Carry haha it has an aluminum frame which makes it significantly lighter as opposed to the 'usual' all steel frame on a 1911. and along with the very slim body of the 1911 single stack, this gun to me is an ideal carry pistol for daily use.

How's the wod on the grip hold up? Does it stratch easily or not?

I own the same exact Kimber and I love it, but I do agree with the fact that Kimber only gives you 1 mag for the price it should come with at least 2 mags, other than that it's a great and good looking pistol.

You should check out the XS 24/7 big dot sights. It's what I had on my ultra CDP II. They keep the nice looks of the firearm and make target acquisition REALLY fast.
