Firstly, the car doesn't have anti-lag!!

Second, the car had already done mapping and power runs, this run was done to test launch control in the ECU.

Third, this is not running on Alcohol or Nitro. Alcohol does not spool turbos quicker, Nitrous Oxide does.

Fourth, the flames are due to unburnt fuel being combusted in the hot exhaust, as the throttle is closed on gearchanges. It has nothing to do with compression or back

its been tuned to have anti lag. the aim is to keen the turbos spooling at inbetween gear shifts therefore avoiding turbo lag, thats what the pop is. Look at all the other videos and you will c. Such a good tune on this..

@pyroman10 lol look up your stuff better.... backfire is created when there is to much compression in the cylinders and it has no were to go but down the exhaust pipes.. a turbo wont cause that usually unless its malfuncting, a turbo pulles in more air into the enging to make it fire faster... good try tho

@gamelegend404 Well that's what i'm saying your taking alot of back pressure from the turbo. Your getting more air to your engine and putting it out through the exhaust unless you got a cutoff valve. When u dont have enough pressure going out through the exhaust you get it built up in your cylinders and that's how you get a pop

This is a 2 step anti lag on the car thats why you see the flames during gear shifts

Um. No. It isn't that involved at all. That is not why you see flames during gearshifts. There are plenty of cars that have no such systems that spit flames all the time. Having no CAT and a tune that's running rich can get this same effect. Notice his shifting, there's a very delibrate pause between the shifts that spit a flame. He's allowing fuel to get dumped into the exhaust so that when he hits the gas, the fuel gets spit out, hit's o2, and ignites. Good try though man.

the flames are from excess fuel in the exhaust. as the exhaust valve opens the fuel is still being burned so it comes out the exhaust igniting the exhaust fumes. you see it all the time in GT cars.
