Mind the cobra on Cleo's forehead Atia ! Cleo is valiant, inventive, bold and cunning. For every plans that failed she have three more in reserve. That's what it take to surive as queen of Egypt.
The little one is very sexy,as she comes and as she goese.I enjoyed her approaches and her departure, the coming and the going.I love her sexy walk.Great piece of arse eh ? i dont need to see it,i can imagine what lies behind the curtain, the veil and the thin sheet she had on..;))))))
What is a vassal but a slave,a puppet.Cleo the queen of Egypt is a slave to love,Anthony's love. What else can she do but wait and weep.No other can quenched her thirst but Anthony or rather Anthony kept her thirsty for more, for his love she is never quenched of thirst.Such a tragic and sad ending isnt it ? I enjoyed the actress and the actor who portray Anthony and Cleo in this movie much better than that of Richard Burton and Liz Taylor.
I don't know about you,but i'm madly in love with the Pig Spawn Trollop. It's the chemistry you see,no offense Atia.I absolutely adored the little one.Your vassal queen shall weep til she see's you again ;)))))
ahh. hillarious, whoever wrote the script for this series is genuis.. i own both seasons, and there are countless witty clever play on words and phrases, its suppose to be a serious drama, but i laugh alot during it. you gotta love the british way of talking.
@cttn101 Classic British humour is subtly witty and ever so sarcastic. This does it complete justice, or maybe it's just the fact that I personally love it. I agree though, the script is honestly brilliant.
Attia's simply couldn't compete with likes of independent and highly intelligent women of the East like Cleopatra. In Roman society women could only pull strings from the men;s shadows(unlike ancient Egypt, Syria or Persia). Even a noble born and influential Roman like her can't help but feel envy and a slight admiration for the Egyptian Queen.
@blackarawak83 What? Eastern women are not known for being independent, African women are or were in this time frame. Like in Rome, I've never heard of a regnant Queen in neither Persia nor Syria. In African empires: Egypt, Ethiopia, Nubia, Congo, ect. You're right, Attia could'nt compete with Cleopatra because she was a siren, Attia, a dandy. Antony was a brute with no brains so the siren would have more control. If he was intelligent like Augustus, the dandy would have more control.
@ThePharaoho not all only Nubian and Egyptian Queens ruled over their populations. We had Sheba (Late Bronze Age) of S. Arabia and Samsi of Araabia Felix, Queen Zenobia of Palmyra (who was potently anti-Roman), Artemisia of Asia Minor who fought the Greeks, Queen Tomyris of Persia who was consort of Cyrus. Moreover, we have pre-islamic Berber Queens like Kahina and Dahlia who fought in the Maghreb regions of N. Africa just around the year 680 AD who fought against the muslim abbasid armies
@blackarawak83 Agreed. But we're speaking of this time. Cleopatra was Greek, but most of her population was Hybird: ancient Egyptian, Nubian, Persian, Ethiopian, and Greek mixed. Still the population was mostly dark brown in skin tone according to Herodotus. Egypt was still quite African at this point. It's ancient laws and religion and customs were still in play. Even though it was now of a mix of Greek too making it Helenistic. The customs drastically changed with Islam, much later.
@blackarawak83 sorry i know your comment is old, but i don't agree at all- if this was the case why couldn't cleopatra cement her own power without the help of first caesar then antony? and don't forget egypt was a roman province. i don't see why you would say she had any more independence than a roman woman (or intelligence).
and in the context of this programme, fictional i know, although she loses antony atia is by far the one who comes out on top and cleo does indeed die in agony!
Atia's actress plays Sister Clarice in Caprica on Syfy channel and space channel, the prequel to Battlestar Galactica. She is as awesome there. She plays the best manipulative traitorous fanatical bitch. I love her. :)
"The party's over. Everybody can go home now!" Atia's a love, but I wish she could be more self-expressive!
