@spyn09 you'll probably find that, 1 dollar is worth less that 1 euro. In reality they're both the same price, but 1dollar in a sense probably doesn't equal the same amount as 1 euro. It's the same with an English pound.

I'm debating whether to get the large version or the medium, or the medium wireless. What are your thoughts on the large size? I've heard people saying it's too big and creates arm strain (although you can map it to a smaller size if desired). I'll primarily be using it with a 30" monitor.

Hi please give me an advice. I am planning to buy a wacom intuos 4 XL. Do you think that is worth the price (700 euros) ?I have a 24'' monitor, do you thing that the XL (extra large) will be better that the L (large) ? I am 3D designer, I will use it only for making the textures and modify the renders to add some details using photoshop. I am used to make the drawing movement from the elbow, so , what do you think ? Sorry for my bad english.

I needed a reference to see how big was the Intuos4 Large so thanks for posting this. Also, good to know the cable is just a standard USB cable, since the cord of my Intuos3 got damaged and it doesn't seem easy to change.

Pretty cool Intuos 4. I have been wanting one ever since they came out. I have the Intuos 3 and works fine but the new features on the Intuos 4 seem very cool. Do you have an artblog or art website to showcase your drawings. Are still posting new videos?

The reason the penholder is so heavy is because it's meant to sit on your desk without easily being knocked over. Congrats on your Intuos 4 :)

I sprung for the large, too. Just bought mine today on Amazon but holy moley that looks large! A huge upgrade from my small Intuos 3 LOL. Do you have an ok time drawing with a large? Is it too big?

@DraconicDev Nah drawing with it is fine, especially since I got a widescreen monitor that closely matches the dimensions of the pad. The hard part is just taking it around with me to friends' houses and such. :p

@Kailys3 oh ok. I didnt think I saw them when you unboxed. the rings from what I have been seeing, go around the pen and help when you have more than one pen. I wrote a message to wacom to see if we were suppose to get them. every unboxing or review I saw where the person had them was a medium tablet.

Before my Grapphire 3, I had a Wacom...something...I don't even remember. And before that I had a super cheap pad by some off brand I don't even remember that I barely used. But I was only twelve at the time.

If I was rich, I would try out a tablet PC, but I'm happy with an intuos for now. A friend went on a tirade that I was a spoiled, lazy asshole for not being content with my old tablet. When I tried...

as for the ipad...I wouldn't turn down one if someone offered me a free one, but for $700 or whatever it is, I'd rather put it into a savings fund for a decent laptop, lol.

An ipad is a pseudo laptop useful only for elementary functions like watching netflix and checking your facebook. the intuos is a highly sensitive drawing tablet used by professionals to create digital art. that's like saying a car is more expensive than a computer so, what, a car is more useful? I don't think so.

But I plan to scrape enough together to get it when Reach comes out...provided I can afford Reach as well x.x The job hunt continues...
