One of my favorite games on the DS, along with Radiant Historia and Order of Ecclesia. But I can't believe you don't like the music! Some of the tunes remind me of those epic classic samurai movies from Kurosawa or Kobayashi. I seem to remember you being a huge fan of samurai movies so I'm really surprised haha. But hey to each his own :)

i just got the PC HD version of this game. this is a super cool game especially if you are into the heroes might and magic series. The story happens b4 the story of heroes 5 and they have the music from heroes 5 too. The battle system is very unique and interesting. I really enjoy this game.

I'm finally going to pick this up later today for the DS. I wish the PS3 version was playable on the PSP b/c the updated HD visuals on the XBLA/PSN remake look really, really nice. There's an iOS App Store game called Chronos Gear (99 cents) that's basically a rip of this but I'd rather have the real McCoy.

IMHO I think ubisoft as done great revamping the HOMM series, and 3DO messed up of 4 making it too complicated, and had unnecessary features such as moving troops around with out a hero.

But anyway I'm not sure what the hell where the makers think when putting the title 'Might and Magic', one that has a strong connection and history to dungeon crawlers, and rpgs.

So ubisoft take HOMM but don't destory it's history without doing a little research, rant over.

I just defeated the final boss. He was damn tough. I was really lucky there and finished him off with a perfect lightning strike when he had 100 hp left. M&M:CoH is a GREAT game that took me 45 hours to finish :D

They should re release Clouds of Xeen and Darkside of Xeen. Those were the last (and greatest) games in the series before it New World Computing got bought out by 3DO and the series went from a top shelf title to budget garbage with low production values.

MIGHT and MAGIC series used to be some of the more famous turn-based strategies and RPG on PC.

Heroes of Might and Magic 3 is still played around the world even after 11 years. It's the game that never will never leave my hard drive.
