There is a brotherhood of EMT/Firefighter-Police-Militar­y. This is not bad in itself but can, and often does, lead to abuse of power. Police brutality is well known but few people are aware that there's also EMT abuse of patients. This is a sick sick violation of the Hippocratic Oath. I'm just stating that it exists and while not as visible or widespread as Police misconduct/brutality, these incidents are not isolated incidents either. What's this have to do with this video and it's issue? Alot

@Chuckjagermeister I can verify after working in a Trauma room for 9 years that many EMT's are guilty of manslaughter in my eyes. Many times not doing what they could or should out of being lazy or just no morals. When confronted about it they pretend to be stupid or as if they had no clue. This doesn't stand because they must hold the same competency as one another and are licensed under that standard. No reason one can do it but another has no clue! It's an excuse not to get dirty!

I assume that these people in the video would not reply to you for a few reasons: The EMT taking the camera might be considered small on their scale of work. Also, it really isn't any business except the victim and the EMT, so I assume people naturally wouldn't talk about it to another person. Any gossip back and forth about the incident drags out a miniscule problem. We have far greater things to worry about in our country then an EMT losing composure.

These people are all on the local level. It is their job to deal with this. Also they are not so busy that they cannot lend a minute or two to someone reporting to the public. You are right, that it is inappropriate to cast an opinion before viewing the video but Ridley is trying to inform them and the public.
