  • Buy the full version and make a video of the backs of the bills!

  • Where can I buy the folder sleeves for the notes?

  • thats sick. btw nice music \\

  • I have a 1923 25 cent bill VG, 1900 25 cent bill VG and an 1870 25 cent bill G and I'm 11.

  • I have a 1954 Beattie Rasminsky 1 and 2 dollar both UNC and I'm getting a Beattie Rasminsky 5 dollar XF and a 10 dollar XF-AU 20 dollar XF and I'm 11.

  • no 1000 dollar bill :(

  • Very nice!

  • I got a 1900 twenty five cents bill. did you know how much is on the market today?

  • where did you get the clear paper you store them in? :)

  • I am Canadian and it was nice to see the old money.

  • how much is there all together

    im from manitoba

  • Have you gotten The 1935 $25's? Started on the recent years ill send u piks in do time gl, would love to see ur new bills. I finally got a 1924 $5 cheers

  • @Typescore1 I got a French 1935 $25 in Fine-15. You?

  • it's funny seeing the birds of canada ones - because i remember using those as a kid. i remembered when we got the new ones but couldn't remember what the old ones looked like! nice collection :D

  • Amazing Collection!! Is there any bill or a couple that you would reccommend as a good investment?

  • amazing collection! Thats everything i would ever want. Definately poops on my collection of 20 or so notes

  • i see you have the 1954 1000. do you plan on getting the 1986 and the 1937 1000 dollar notes also. (sorry if i got the years wrong, but i think thats what they are)

  • @daniel55645 I sold my 1954 $1000. I might get it again and/or the 1988. But to tell you the truth they are very bad investments. Look at their book values with respect to face value in the time since they've been out of circulation.

As for the 1937, OMG yes! I wish I had one. It is very hard to find. Definately one of the top bills.

  • @lookaguru so you collect as more of an investment than a hobby? hwo much did you sell the 1954 for?

  • @daniel55645 Both. But the 1954 $1000 is not uncommon at all and $1000 can buy a lot more cool stuff. I sold it for 1100 (not UNC).

  • @lookaguru oh ya. the video looks like it's UNC. 1100 is pretty cheap. i usually see them go for 1500. but they're def more common than the US's 1000 dollar bills.

  • @daniel55645 lol @ 1500. I know I could have fetched more if I sold it on eBay or something as Americans are whiling to pay more for it, since they have lesser access to canadian bills. But with the fees and all, it's not worth it. Mine was AU, I got it for face value and got rid of it so that I could buy more rare stuff... you know, stuff that's probably listed around $1400-1600+ whereas my 1000 was booked at 1250 for AU.

  • @daniel55645 the US 1000 is not common? I see them on eBay all the time.

  • @lookaguru they're common, but not as common. to get an AU or better US 1000 cost about 2-4000

  • wow i never knew that our money looked like that a few years ago and WHEN DID WE HAVE 2 $ IN PAPER?!

  • @Life4Blackberry I don't know, I'd have to evaluate. I prob wouldn't sell the collection but I have a few bills which I wouldn't mind selling. Those that I have more than one of at least.

  • I LOVE IT!!!!! EXELENT VIDEO.... CONGRATULATION !!!!!

  • hey dude where do you get those books to hold the money please tell me :)

  • Sell that book of collection and it will be worth around $400,000-800,000. seriously but you miss the $1000 bills LOL. My parents had 3 of them left...

  • @Jay6865 - Haha I wish. Maybe one day.

  • You must be rich to keep all this money like this.

  • i want all them lol

  • Where did you buy your banknote album from?

  • I'm looking for the right way to store my old paper money...is the plastic that you use in your binder made of mylar plastic? I've heard that's the best plastic to use, but I wanted an experienced opinion..

  • Do you store these notes standing up in the binder? Or lying down, in the binder?

  • @CndMoneyGuy - Lying down, why?

  • @lookaguru I also store mine lying down in a binder. But I always think about the notes being pressed.

  • @CndMoneyGuy - I'm not too worried about that. I don't think a note fitting in a plastic being flattenned loses value, at least not as if it was pressed with heated iron to make it lose it's feel, color, fibres along creases and making it dull overall. Afterall, when notes come out of the mint, they come stacked in piles.

  • @lookaguru But for Devils Head notes. It could press the original ripples out.

  • @CndMoneyGuy - Don't have any Devil's heads. Only modifided. But you're right, I should tilt my album 45 degrees or something.

  • I LIVE IN cANADA MAN AND THOOSE OLD BILLS ARE RARE NOW

  • Thinking of a 1924 $5 queen marry pmg rates as vf but he says its over rated and he selling as fine $7250. Theres only 75 known but 1c in a while people sell them so ill wait until next time. Modified 1954 drop alot even 1935s lost alot of value... gonna have my $25's rechecked by another company (ci something) Thxs ...typescore1

  • nice colection... i have a few 100 bucks in a cad colection myself... but i noticed you didnt have any us $3 bills.. i ahd a few but have had them stolen in my old colection...

  • amazing collection, very dedicated collector, I'd be tempted to cash those notes in for face value because I'm broke! (especially that $1000 bill oooo)

    Bravo !

  • Hey , do you plan on getting the 1000$ from 1937 ?

I see one selling on ebay for 18k , Whats the most one should pay for it ?

  • @supadrew932 - All depends on the grade. UNC books at $14,500 so I probably wouldn't pay more than that, if I can afford one that is. The 1937 1000 I think I'd be happy with even a low grade for now.

  • VERY NICE NOTES!!!

  • I got a store that sells rares like some of your $4 i have seen in very fine so im not intested in buying from you but was wondering if i could share info to you so i could have some ideas of good things to buy and a to talk with you 1c in a while its rare that i can have a converation with people that are as advance as u are in there collection. well hope to hear from you bye for now

  • @Typescore1 - MY 4 IS NOT FOR SALE. If you wanna talk, send me a message.

  • @lookaguru shit didnt see this comment yea id love to talk 1c in a while thank now im saving my cash n trust me i donjt have alot of cash but i can always spare 5k on an item. tHANKS FOR COMMENTING TAKE CARE TYSM

  • @Typescore1 - What 5K item ?

  • There is this one guy somewhere down in the comments that asked a million questions in buying a couple of common notes. We negotiated for days, he tried to socialize with me when I was at work. It was always "too expensive" for him and he "didn't have any money" but wanted to buy more. We agreed on something like 75% of the book value shipping incl. and then he cancelled on the last minute, saying he wanted to pay $40 less. Biggest pain in the ass ever.

  • [... continued] Just to give you an idea, he tried to buy an 1878 $1 in VF for $350... 1935 $1 in AU for $235 and now he wants to see scans of my 1917 EF $1. Fuck that. I don't even have a scanner at home anymore. People need to stop believing that EVERYTHING IS TO BE DISPOSED FOR PEANUTS.

  • I recognise one or two of the notes. You may have bought a couple of items from me on ebay!!! Super collection. Older stuff must be hard to find at a good price and in good grade!!!

  • @simoncuming41 - really? which ones?

  • Still looking for a $25 bill? I love those bills so much got one in english vf n french fine. 1912 $5 with train in very fine + ive got 3 1911's $1 ea, in fine to vf bad i no.1914 $2 bill in vf those are some of my old bills i dont got many bill from 1954 n up but i spare some cash to get all the singurature n serial number ne ways ur video is aweseom ur collcetion is awesome 5x better en me gl n dont give up on it

  • Man do you know where i can find plastic sleeve for individual paper money?

  • @TuturFilm - At your local coin dealer. Where do you live ?

  • @lookaguru in N-B

  • @lookaguru in N-B

  • cool

  • well u have more money than me :)

  • I do not collect banknotes from Canada or USA but still I think you have amazing collection. All this extremely rare banknotes. I collect banknotes from other countrys. Maybe in the future I will get some Canadian banknote(s) =)

  • hi , im a banknote collector and i think that your collection is great . if its not a problem can you tell me where you got your albums from please.

    thanks

  • My album? That's just an ordinary binder with the three-par-page note holders.

  • no sorry i dont have anything to trade and a lot of those notes are high prices in uncirculated

  • Thats insane how muh money did you put into that. Ive been doing the same with romanian banknotes but i only have 55. Im tryign to get one ofevry kind ever printed and every year of issue. Good luck and keep it up

  • Money invested in assets is always better than money in the bank.

  • good point how many do u still need to finish the collection

  • Quite a few, most high end items. Why, do you have some stuff to trade? lol

  • nice, whats the song

  • @MySpiderFly - Golden Brown by the Stranglers

  • Are the 1954 devils face or modified portrait?

And by the way, I want you to do a part 2!

  • Modified. I will do an updated version soon. I'm just looking to pick up some key notes first (1882 $4, $25 note, etc)

  • amasing collection the best bills i have is an almost uncerculated 1937 $2 bill a bunch of ones a 5 and a 10 from the same series canada, and a bank of montreal january 2nd 1931 large $5 bill. Is my $5 bill rare it is not in my 2010 coins of canada book.

  • Nice.

    Do you have a 1000$ bill 1988?

And how much does 1935 series cost?

  • @MySpiderFly - I don't (yet). Do you? The 1935's depend on condition. Do you have a Charlton catalogue?

  • Comment removed

  • Yes, I have the catalogue.

Wich bills do you need to complete your collection?

  • @MySpiderFly - I have sent you a personal message.

  • Nice collection.

    Where did you find that?

  • @MySpiderFly - Scroll down, see my very first comment.

  • Nice collection,......well presented,....and I see, like my own collection, you still have a few "holes" to fill, but that's the fun,...and you have already snagged a few "hard-to find" items!

  • @mapearce1 - That's great. I have a lot of "doubles" that I did not include in this album. They're in my "to trade" envelop for bills that I don't yet have.

Maybe we can trade... message me if interested.

And oh yeah, I will probably not be going for the $500 anytime soon. Better invest in property lol

  • Can you still use the "birds of canada" notes?

  • Yes. However, most Canadian financial institutions upon receipt of notes other than the "Journey" series will remove them from circulation,.....marry a bank teller!

  • @tranya58 - They are all real. I just picked up an 1870 $1 note and someone told me it was a counterfit. So I have to inspect.

  • That's alot of bread!

  • the one with the 1 under the word Canada

  • Dude, what the hell are you talking about? What year, signature and what grade?

  • how much is the 1 dollar worth now

  • Which one?

  • great stuff :D

  • why dont you show the backs. the back have so much more art on them and look really cool

  • I probably should. But my video editting software's trial version has expired :(

  • wow very nice collection u have !!

  • i have one 5 dollar note from the first page and i really want a 1917 US note

  • Great Collection!! This is what i'm trying to do. Can you give me any tips on how to acquire the notes?

  • I acquired most of my rarest during the receission on eBay. I messaged the sellers to contact me directly and I negotiated a price outside of eBay that would save them eBay fees and PayPal fees.

Because you know, PayPal fees and currency conversion rates are the scum.

Haven't found that great of deals lately. People actually have money now to upbid these items. Just missed out on a 1935 $25 bill for $2550 in Fine+ condition.

  • the 35 $25 note for 2550 for F+??

What? For half a note? That definitely would have been a "steal"!!!

Wait til you try for the $500,.....consider a second mortgage! Haha!

  • wow , I love it . great collection :0

makes me wish i hadent spent and sold the bulk of mine.:(

    1954 $1000 amazing

    didnt see any devil faces

    I NEED a 1902 $4

    great collection .

  • Thanks :) I have two 1902 $4 (as you can see). The numeric one might be up for trade/sale. Msg an offer if interested.

  • I couldnt afford it , im a single father raising a 12yr old and just tapped my savings buying school clothes and supplies.

If I win the lottery I will be in touch.

but dont get me wrong , if i had the money i would definatly make an offer.

  • i can't afford it?
