If you ever looked back and saw the TV angle of it in slow motion. You would see how much Church got under it and how far off the end of the bat it was. It's amazing how a few centimeters and a couple of milli-seconds could've possibly changed the entire 2008 season.

i dont hate the mets or anything, but this stadiums wasnt even that old. built in 64', not even that old. compared to Fenway Park and Wrigley Field and old Yankee Stadium, this place is like a baby. those other three are like fuckin dinosaurs. seriously, i dont hate the mets or the fans, im just wondering why they get a new stadium and not the Red Sox or the Cubs. i know the Yankees got one, but why not Red Sox or Cubs?
