The "Chairman of the Board" does not let his material come easily. That is one of his signature songs and I am sure the rights were expensive. Same as When Fast Times At Ridgemont High went on TV. All the music was different from the theatrical and at times DVD version.

@invalidacess No. Sony, the company that released the show on DVD and owns the rights to the show, doesn't have the rights to the original music except for the episodes shown on TV. It takes a lot from the show.

I thought all season's ran the Love and Marriage Theme in re-run, at least. It's possible that when Crackle got the rights to show the episodes they didn't get the musical rights to the theme song.
