Yes. Of course. Teddy Ruxpin came out shortly after I finished the miniature Billybob Doll (which I never released as a product). They both used cassette tape and told stories. The Teddy Ruxpin Doll was to my Billybob Doll the was Chuck E. Cheese was to my Showbiz Pizza Place. I was fightin' mad over it.
I'll post some video of the Billybob doll someday.
Being a fan it might seem a little biased, but I definitely think yours would have been better. Billy Bob is definitely a much better developed character than Teddy Ruxpin. Can't wait to see the Mini-Bob video.
I'd love to learn how to reverse-engineer a Teddy Ruxpin, I found a copy of the patent application but can't figure out how to reprogram his audio track :/

Just a head. You can build your own body and create whatever face you want with the head. I posted a video showing this today and will be revealing some of the fun you can have with it in my next video of the AEK.
