There are two ways of going about it. There is the rehabilitation program, which expunges it from your credit report, or the WD Ford program, which will put it in good standing. The Rehab is a much better choice because the WD Ford is a consolidation process sending you to a new lender that will ask for outstanding interest up front, thus sending you back into default since you cannot comply.
