I was really impressed with this, but with just a LITTLE more choreography and some more realistic fighting this could have been one of the best cosplay acts I've ever seen. The amount of time that was spent walking around and such sorta took the edge off it for me, but Gamzee's moment was just amazing.

I think I liked Nepeta+Equius the most, that or sollux+aradia.

Here's what I didn't like.

When sollux was running, he was waving his fists up and down, they shouldve flowed in the air like aradia's.

Nepeta should've been more aggressive, she shouldve pounced on him or something, same with Eridan. And when Vriska was forcing the king to the centre, she shouldve moved her arms towards herself and not out the other way. the flow of chi man, learn it.

I love how Gamzee stumbles on stage and just LOCKS ON to the black king and unleashes one killer blow. I feel like that is what must have really happen during the fight with the king. And then he goes back to being his stoned self. This Gamzee here gives me chills, he's so great.

Things get REALLY good once Feferi and Eridan show up. They did specially awesome.

Hell, it looks awkward at some points because the song is long like that. Sollux and Aradia were also awesome, but I can't unsee the way Sollux runs. Also, Gamzee was awesome. A bit awkward endwards, but awesome. Tavros did alirght too, and for some reason I didn't like Kanaya much.

...and here are compliments to prove that yes I actually enjoyed this and I definitely respect the time and effort put into assembling and rehearsing a skit. Eridan and Feferi had kickin' costumes and good stage chemistry. Equius' and Nepeta's part leading up to that was well-choreographed (I liked how they ducked down to let the royalty in!). Neat psychic effects with the fluttery cloths, too. The ending with all the trolls was total KODAK MOMENT and I hope a picture of that shows up soon!

Yes, "it's a CON" and "they're not professionals," but critical analyses help a large proportion of the fandom develop their talents beyond what coddling does, and making the plot more accessible to non-readers is how they get interested and become readers!

Our Gamzee is awesome by nature so she already knew how to twirl them between her fingers. I never learnt how she did it in detail, but I'm pretty sure there's no sneaky cheats in it. Just her being cool.

I study drama and I'm a brazilian Cosplayer...I should say, this was very very creative! I mean, here in my country we value Cosplays Skits A LOT, sometimes some of the brazilians value more the performance than the costume itself. I didn't see very clear the quality of the costumes but I think it was all pretty good! I don't know how is the frequency the cosplayers get on stage and act, but some of them did a great job acting! (Gamzee, and I think Vriska and Aradia were great too!)



@KahsanOni Oh gosh thank you so much! It's actually really hard to make a proper skit with 13 people who have to rehearse it through a video, and then meet up and rehearse it together 2-3 times before going on stage :c

But of course there are some flaws in the show, not gonna point them out too lazy ugh
