1 John 2:26-27 "These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. 27But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him"
A message in season. Though it should be emphasized the place of the pastor-preacher in the equipping of the flock of Christ to rightly divide the word of truth. For it is by the preacher (Romans 10) that the word was delivered to the ear that would hear unto faith. Not just any preacher mind you; (there are enough seminary, or should i say cemetary, trained preachers); but God sent, Holy Spirit filled and gifted preachers and teachers. God give us discernment in these perilous times.
They all think the same and have the same partyline answers to any Bible questions, even if they are shown by the scripture that there answer can't be right, they say it is, but make no attempt to explain or support it with scripture. And when one comes up with a question regarding a problem, or something hard to understand in the scriptures, they have No real Answers, AS one would expect them too. They all seem to be in lock-step whether in error or in truth. They don't seem to know the BIBLE.
Almost none of them will declare any Bible that they have in there hand is the infallible Word of God. They'll just say it;s only in the "ORIGINALS" when pressed a little harder they say you're causing division, But in reality they are, because they say "The Bible IS The Word Of God, But when pressed, they say "only In The Originals" WHY? Because that's what there Higher educaters Taught them to say. That's Why They Have No Faith Or Power. If they step out of the box it'll effect the income.
Yuh know what? I've been around long enough to see that "good,Godly" dedicated trained "men of God" really are at a great disadvantage to someone that gets everything from studying the King James Bible, and Believing IT. Most of them Don't take a stand on anything and won't step outside there little seminary box. I am completely unimpressed with almost all of them. Most have been trained and programed to be powerless an ineffective in mustering any zeal out of the saints that they lead.
god is used so blindly to support arguments that cannot otherwise be supported logically and reasonably. The "right" way is merely a way to control the thinking of believes. Tell me, why else would they fret so much over this? as long as believers believe in god and respect him, it is enough. no?
Just currious where your judgement stands related to your life. Are you legal? Do you abide by the law? Are you perfect. Should you be condemed to death? Just currious if you think you are God? Cause your not.
well I am not sure what staion it was I was in new jersey when I saw it it was maybe 4 days ago.Are you (lanech) the guy who's makin these videos? The same guy you are posting was the host of the show I was watching I did not get a chance to write down all the instructions that was in the video I was watchin but I do know in the video it was about daily devotion(excuse my spelling).
it was in steps I think step 1 was reading the bible 2 was a good bible commentery 3 was maybe praying and studying must be done together 4 was listning to good sermons which supplement your daily devotion
Having said that, I love commentaries. Just good to realize that they're not infallible, neither are my views, ultimately. God's Word is Truth. Many great spiritual truths have been mined by these great men, I agree!
M. Henry imagined Noah keeping the sabbath and sending out a raven then without scriptural reference. He and Spurgeon had wrong views of eschatology. Others confused the Church with Israel. Jamieson, et al. inserted sabbath views into Gen. 4:3. Clarke inserted infant baptism.
dont laff but some of us unlearned folks dont know what eschetology even is, ok its too big of a word your using like FIVE sylabuls gosh!, its really simple and all about Jesus i agree with this guy. the commentaries are not infallible, but useful but we are not to heap up teachers neither.
I like commentaries, although some of them seem to drift away from the subject of the scriptures they are commenting on and don't address needful issues of apologetics.
This is a good video. Modern "seeker-sensitive" church discourage learning. They like their sociology teachings instead.

Yes; I've read some that drift away, as well. Discernment is definitely vital.
