This video is really bringing me souvenir...I have been diagno in 1995...and sufferd, almost died from it 10 monts later... so I know wath you are talking about. How are you now? How is life? Mine in doing much better, I foud the cellular nutrition 5 years ago and it's working great!!! I am always please to help otter, so if you still need help I might have something to help you stay healthy!!!
I was diagnosed with Crohns Disease October 19th 2009. It took Doctors 7 months and various tests before i got the diagnosis.
Prior to May 2009 I weighed 207lbs (15st/95kg) - by the time i was diagnosed i weighed 114lb(8st/50kg)
Despite taking Pentasa and Imuran, I still get the cramps and diarrhea, i constantly feel tired and have virtually no appetite and can barely go an hour without needing the toilet, yet i am trying to keep on with my life, I now weigh 145lb (10st/66kg)
i am very curious about your experiences on nutrition and psychological work-up.
it´s difficult staying with food-change longer than a week without an encouraging specialist when not feeling a change onself ...
i like to know from the ones who tried strict food-change for longer than 2 weeks, WHAT you tried, if it helped, when, AND if you have had any laboratory tests on gluten-sensitivity or allergy at all.
@hasimama see my channel also mebbe check out crohnsboy on here too.
true story; a surgeon wanted to remove my entire bowel last year...
though I still have it I belive through strictly researching and feeling what was right for me..\ a strict food diet becomes a non issue when life is at stake..
anyone want to message me re crohns feel free, I'll help if `i can
I dont know if I have it, but my stomach is really swollen and I am in a ton of pain all the time. The only thing I have found that helps so far is a heating pad or shot of vodka, probably not the best thing, but still looking for more permanent relief, any suggestions?
my 10 year-old son was diagnosed with Crohn's...he went from 114 pounds down to 92 pounds at 5'0. We know all too well what you are going through...God Bless...Good Luck
My daughter became very ill when she was eighteen. Until then, she was very muscular; athletic. At twenty, she is still very beautiful but skinny -- no longer the rough and ready girl -- more delicate. You mentioned the darkness under the eyes. At her sickest, her eye orbits were so dark. She said she felt like Syd Barrett. She is doing better on the whole -- main problem now is fistulas. Once they start, it is surgery after surgery -- next one due in January. She may lose her colon.
i know the feeling, ma and my friends would always go out bmx together, but recently i havnt had the energy at all, or the confidence i can keep my cramps away
I got sick when I was a baby I got sick again at 5 and at age 8 was diagnosed with crohns colitis. It was very severe and I was in children hospital in and out for 2 years. I was prescribed steroids and my body flarred when i tried to ween. I have had almost 10 iron infusion, 2 nosetubes which had MILK(allergie) in them and made me more sick, and 2 blood transfusions. Now 13 I have been sick for 8 months. I just got out of a short 5 day visit in the hospital and am on lots of meds
~WOW:O(that is just heartbreaking to me~I have been sick for 6 months now~Started out as the flu but never got better~Ended up have gallbladder out after several test~Ended up at hospital last night only to find out it probably is chron's, colitis or IBS~To date I've lost 36 pounds in 4 months time, can hardly get out of bed, no energy whatsoever, and eat only plain vanilla yougart because anything else tears my guts up for hours~I've been really active my whole life so this for me is shocking!!
I have been coping with Crohn's colitis since 1975. Having the disease affects every aspect of my life. I am so glad I am married to someone who cares enough about me to stay by my side through it all. We have a hobby in common - we are in the SCA. Having crohn's colitis sure makes going to Pennsic a real trip, but I'm proof it can be done. I wish you the best in your battle, nobody truly understands who has not walked the same path. Thinking healthy thoughts your way.
I got sick at the age of 12 and at 22 was told I had Crohn's. With meds and diet I have learned to live with the disease. There have been many up and downs, but I had three beautiful children and now three grandchildren. I am now 55 and in remission. It is important to rest, eat right, and live as normally as you can. You can have a good life!! God bless you.
J~ I have known you for 29 years now. I am so proud of you for your stength and how you have taken this disease and given it a face for so many to see. I am inspired by your determination...you and your family are truely blessed!! Stay strong!!
long time Crohn's patient. 37 yrs, numerious mulltiple bowel resections. Be strong, I know you are a type A person and hate to sit still. I also know you very smart. Keep your head. U 2 R A WINNER.
